Because of geographically adjacent, China and Japan’s culture is similar to religion; the two countries are set up in high school history curriculum, and focus on the interpretation of modern world history. However, due to their own environmental and social development of all the differences of background, the two countries differ in terms of history curriculum. There are also quite different between history textbook writing system, content and other aspects. Because of the advancement of education in Japan, and both countries are at the Confucian cultural circle, similar to the written language. Chinese scholars are increasingly concerned about the system and the content of Japanese textbooks.In view of this point, this article selects and draws on the great influence in China and Japan in the two sets of high school history textbooks. Elaborated textbook writing of the two countries and other related issues such as the examination and approval of textbooks, and writing system and so on, and then compares the two versions of history textbooks compiled style, and analyzes the textbook content of the two countries. As the research of Chinese high school history textbook version is very rich and complete, so this article focuses on the interpretation of Japanese high school history textbooks.Finally, after comparing is systematic summary, trying on the basis of predecessors’ research with a new perspective, making a comprehensive and more practical summary and discussion on high school history textbooks for the two countries.
