| Physics is a basic science which plays an important role in natural science.It is composed of a large number of physical concepts,which are closely related to each other.Therefore,physical concept learning in junior high school is very important because only when the physical concepts are clearly understood can the students take the next step to figure out the laws and connections between physical quantities.However,some physical concepts in junior high school are abstract and difficult to understand.And at this stage,although the students' ability of abstract logical thinking is developing,it is still but not very perfect,so it is difficult to understand them when learning more abstract physical concepts.Under the traditional teaching mode,students often adopt receptive learning when learning physical concepts in junior high school,which are mainly taught and instilled by teachers.This is not effective enough.Under these circumstances,changing the original learning mode to study physical concepts has become an important development direction of classroom learning research.With the rapid development of information technology,the model of "flipped classroom" has gradually entered people's vision,aroused the widespread attention of educators and prompted a major change in education.In the flipped classroom mode,everything is student-centered.Before class,students are asked to watch videos according to the independent learning task list and complete the corresponding learning tasks.In class,students are allowed to discuss,communicate and exchange their opinions in groups.In case of any doubt,the teacher will make some suggestions and explanations so that students can deepen their understanding of the concept.Then the groups evaluate each other and apply the knowledge to solve practical problems and demonstrate the results.After class,students are asked to summarize what they have learned.This kind of learning mode conforms to students' cognitive rules,cultivates students' autonomous learning ability,and also contributes to the construction of a new teacher-student relationship.Therefore,whether this emerging learning mode can improve the students' learning effect of physical concepts in junior high school is well worth studying.On the basis of reading relevant literature,this study summarizes the flipped classroom models and the research status of physical concept learning at home and abroad.It also defines flipped classroom model,physical concepts and concept learning,etc.Then it sorts out the relevant theoretical basis and investigates the students' learning situation and the teachers' teaching situation of physical concepts in junior high school in the forms of questionnaires and interviews,And consequently,this study finds and sorts out the problems of physical concept teaching in junior high school.To solve the existing problems,based on the analysis of the existing flipped classroom model and combined with the four processes of knowledge integration,this study designs the flipped classroom teaching model to promote junior high school students' physical concept learning,and introduces the specific links involved in the model in detail.In this study,two eighth-grade classes in a junior high school in the City were studied for two and a half months.The experimental class adopted the flipped classroom model to learn physical concepts,and the other class adopted the traditional model as the contrast.Finally,this study verified the effectiveness of junior middle school physical concept learning through routine tests,situational test questions,student satisfaction survey and student interview analysis.Through the analysis of the experimental results,it is found that :(1)The students of the experimental class adopting the flipped classroom model scored significantly higher on the periodic test of physical concepts than the other class,and their ability to solve practical problems by using concepts was also improved to some extent;(2)Students in the experimental class are significantly more satisfied with the flipped classroom model than with the traditional classroom model.The above results show that the application of flipped classroom model to learn physical concepts in this study can promote junior high school students' understanding of physical concepts,improve their learning participation and cultivate their learning interest.Although this teaching experiment is only in a small scope,it can also show that this learning mode has a promoting effect on the learning of physical concepts in junior high school and is worthy of being promoted and applied.In the future,I will continue to expand the scope of research objects,increase the research time,and continue to carry out the teaching practice of flipped classroom model. |
