Observing ability is an important foundation of students' writing ability.In the current primary school language teaching,compared with students' reading and imagination ability,students' observation ability appears relatively weak.Although the new curriculum standards attach importance to the observation ability throughout the primary school stage,in the actual education and teaching,the cultivation of observation ability has not received the attention of front-line teachers.As an important style of training students' observation ability,observation diary plays a very small part in the training of textbooks,and its teaching situation is not optimistic.As a mature teaching mode,Scaffolding Teaching has been widely used in other disciplines.Therefore,this paper attempts to apply the Scaffolding Teaching Model in the teaching of observation diary in primary schools,in order to guide the practice of theory,enrich the teaching methods of observation diary,improve the observation ability of primary school students,and improve the level of primary school students' writing.In the introduction part of this paper,the author summarizes the origin of the subject,the significance of the research and the current research situation at home and abroad,defines the related concepts involved in this paper,and explains the theoretical basis of Using Scaffolding Teaching as a teaching mode.The first chapter summarizes the connotation and stylistic characteristics of observation diary in primary schools,and makes a statistical analysis of the proportion of observation diary in the exercise training of primary school Chinese textbooks(PEP).The second chapter is mainly about the theoretical analysis of the Scaffolding Teaching of observation diary in primary schools,which lays a theoretical foundation for the study of the whole paper.Firstly,the theoretical basis of Scaffolding Teaching is summarized.Secondly,the necessity of Scaffolding Teaching in the use of observation diaries in primary schools is demonstrated.Thirdly,the feasibility of Scaffolding Teaching in the use of observation diaries in primary schools is discussed.Finally,the general steps of scaffolding teaching are introduced.Chapter three summarizes the five links that Scaffolding Teaching follows in the application of observation Diary Teaching in primary schools.That is,according to the learning situation,to determine the writing objectives;create appropriate situations to stimulate writing enthusiasm;"scaffolding" to build,to guide the observation diary;collaborative learning and evaluation of revision.Combining with the examples,the paper puts forward the problems that should be paid attention to and the principles that should be followed in the implementation of the five links.Chapter four is the practical application of Scaffolding Teaching in observation DiaryTeaching in primary schools.It mainly introduces the implementation of Scaffolding Teaching by taking my school as an example.Firstly,through the analysis of students' writing(pre-test)and questionnaire(pre-test),we can understand the students' learning conditions and determine the teaching objectives.Secondly,according to the five links of scaffolding teaching,two teaching designs are carried out.Finally,statistical analysis and sample analysis are carried out on students' pre-test and post-test exercises.The results show that scaffolding teaching can improve students' observation ability,enrich students' exercises and improve students' level of exercises.The fifth chapter mainly evaluates the effectiveness of Scaffolding Teaching in observation Diary Teaching in primary schools,and finds out the shortcomings and problems to be improved.
