Nowadays,more and more enterprises begin to pay attention to the diversity and inclusiveness of talents to promote enterprise innovation and create competitive advantages.With the rapid development of economy,enterprises have increasingly high expectations for talents,and achieving gender equality in the workplace is not only a social cause,but also a top priority in business competition.Many studies based on high-level theory have shown that female managers' financial decisions and management styles are obviously different from those of male managers.Meanwhile,female executives are playing an increasingly important role in enterprises,providing a realistic environment for the research on the influence of gender characteristics on management decisions.With the continuous improvement of women's social status and participation in economic construction and the awakening of women's self-awareness,the ability of female managers is widely recognized.Female executives with excellent communication skills and steady integrity can not only give full play to the governance effect brought by gender advantages and help enterprises to achieve strategic goals more efficiently,but also be more conducive to the improvement of enterprise value in the long run.Companies around the world have realized that gender diversity can lead to stronger talent delivery channels and higher productivity,and are working to achieve higher corporate goals by improving gender equality within their executive teams to retain and promote top female talent.From the perspective of talent management,the unique perspective and experience of women also help broaden the horizons of employees and promote the long-term development of enterprises.When the company's performance fails to reach the expected target,the listed company has the motive to white wash the performance through earnings manipulation,maintain the trust of investors and avoid being influenced by ST.Female executives,on the other hand,are steady,not overconfident and have a strong sense of social responsibility.In the context of their companies' poor business results,the personal characteristics of managers brought by such gender characteristics may influence female executives to make less earnings manipulation decisions than male executives.Based on the Shanghai and Shenzhen two city from 2008 to 2015 in China a-share non-financial listed companies as research samples,using the double difference of OLS regression,regression model,the tendency to score matching method,the stress environment based on poor performance of listed companies to explore the female executives about the company's earnings management behavior management,research and innovation to join the executive power in female executives and correlation of earnings management can play a regulatory role.Through theoretical analysis and empirical study found that:(1)overall,female executives risk aversion,overconfidence,moral constraints,high quality to the accrued earnings management of listed companies,and real earnings management play a significant role in governance,and can effectively ease the agency conflict,the inhibition of enterprise surplus management level,improve the enterprise's surplus information quality;(2)in the case of declining corporate performance,managers show rigid characteristics such as refusal to change in their management behaviors.At this time,female executives are more inclined to make risk-averse decisions because of external pressure,so their inhibiting effect on accrued earnings management and real earnings management of the company is enhanced.When the business results are not good,women can effectively improve the quality of earnings by joining the executive team.(3)executive power gives female executives more influence and greater say in the team.When female executives have more power and higher status,their inhibiting effect on corporate earnings management will be stronger.The conclusion of this paper deepens and enriches the research on female managers and corporate earnings management,and has important theoretical significance to further improve the academic field related to earnings management behavior.At the same time,the female executives and corporate earnings management research is helpful to deepen the understanding of corporate executives,personal characteristics,improve social and enterprise of female executives in daily operation and management role,encourage enterprises to actively improve the diversified management,make the characteristic of executive management efficiency can get into full play,improve the corporate governance;At the same time,ensuring the gender diversity of the executive group can improve the quality of the company's earnings information and contribute to a fair and orderly market environment.
