Cheerleading is a fast developing new sport in China.Its group character and changeable style are loved by primary and secondary school students.With the vigorous promotion of the National Cheerleading sport,the national,provincial and municipal primary and secondary school cheerleading competitions are booming.In 2014,the Department of Physical Health and Arts of the Ministry of Education and the Gymnastics Center of the State General Administration of Sports jointly launched a large-scale public welfare activities of Cheerleading "sent to the grass-roots level".Through training,a large number of teachers of Cheerleading are delivered to primary and secondary schools,and the development of campus cheerleading sport is promoted in an all-round way.The role of sports as the benchmark of quality education in promoting the development of intellectual education.In a strong atmosphere,many primary and secondary schools began to form a cheerleading team.The team cooperation and cohesion of the cheerleading team conform to the physical and mental development law of primary and secondary school students.It is suitable for the development of Cheerleading in primary and secondary schools in the form of Cheerleading team.Taking 320 athletes and 20 coaches of Cheerleading Teams in 15 primary and secondary schools in Wuhan as the object of investigation,this paper investigates and analyses the team structure,training situation and competition situation of Cheerleading Teams in Wuhan primary and secondary schools by means of literature,questionnaire and mathematical statistics,and explores the advantages and challenges faced by Cheerleading Teams in the development process of Wuhan primary and secondary schools.Warfare,the construction of primary and secondary school cheerleading team and competition training put forward suggestions,In order to provide a theoretical reference for the formation of cheerleading teams in Wuhan primary and secondary schools and the development of campus cheerleading.The analysis shows that the current situation of Cheerleading training in primary and secondary schools in Wuhan presents the followingcharacteristics: First,the overall development of Cheerleading in primary and secondary schools in Wuhan is rapid,and cheerleading is hot.Second,the government attaches great importance to the organization and development of Cheerleading events.The number of participants in cheerleading events is increasing year by year.The rules are constantly improved and the requirements for athletes and coaches are gradually raised.Third,schools should pay more attention to it and lack special funds and facilities.Fourth,the daily training of cheerleading team has not yet formed a regular pattern,and the training and competition content mostly focus on prescribed routines and ball cheerleading,and the athletes' self-protection awareness needs to be strengthened.Fifth,the phenomenon of "more women than men" is widespread in the athletes' team.The number of primary school participants is more than that of middle school,and the reserve talent reserve is insufficient.Sixth,the coaches are mainly female coaches,showing a younger and higher educational background,but lack of professional teachers and professional training platform.According to the survey results,this paper suggests: First,through the government and cheerleading committee to improve the competition management mechanism,touring events to promote balanced development,broaden the promotion channels of events,improve competition rules.Second,to enhance the importance of the school in an all-round way,carry out the Sunshine Sports Event in the school,and enrich the cultural life of campus cheerleading.Third,develop scientific training plans and pay attention to safety education.Fourth,strengthen the construction of athletes' echelon and ensure the sufficient reserve talents.Fifth,improve the construction of teaching staff,provide professional training,and encourage teachers to take the initiative to learn and improve their self-quality.Sixth,Expanding intercollegiate exchanges and displaying its own characteristics,so as to integrate excellent Chinese culture,campus culture and cheerleading,and fully explore the value of Cheerleading comprehensive education.
