Training and competition satisfaction is one kind of reflection of emotions and sentiments on inner and outside court environment, which have been widely focused by researchers and coaches. Therefore, the relationships between group cohesiveness, training and competition satisfaction and pre-match emotions are surely should not be neglected. The study conducted a research on 503 male volleyball players who participated in National University Volleyball Series, based on the social exchange theory and development construction theory. It disclosed the relationships between group cohesiveness, training and competition satisfaction and pre-match emotions, and took an analysis on intermediary effect of training and competition satisfaction as well.It hopefully provides some theoretical and practical reference for team construction and emotional regulation of players.Applying to the methodologies of documents, measurements, statistics and interviewing, the study not only described, compared, correlated and analyzed the aspects of group cohesiveness, training and competition satisfaction and pre-match emotions in university male volleyball players, but also constructed a syntactic model of those aspects with AMOS system. The study concluded the following results.Firstly, higher level of self-confidence and anxieties has been displayed by the university male volleyball players, whereas the level of competition satisfaction stands lower.Meanwhile, they also perform a better social cohesiveness than assignment cohesiveness.Secondly, group cohesiveness discloses some features of prediction, which implies that it positively predict training and competition satisfaction,pre-match emotions and confidence, but negatively of anxieties in personal failure, social expectation and body.Training and competition satisfaction apparently positively predicts the pre-match emotions and confidence, but negatively of anxieties in personal failure, social expectation and body anxieties. Therefore,it implies that the hypothesis of H1,H2 and H3 come to be granted.Thirdly, training and competition satisfaction could play a role of intermediary effect on pre-match emotions and group cohesiveness. Also the group cohesiveness has played different intermediary effects on pre-match emotions, which consist of confidence, personal failure anxiety, social expectation anxiety and body anxiety, whereas personal and social anxieties have been affected at a more distinguished level. It is affirmed that the hypothesis of H4 is correct.Fourthly, direct effect and intermediary effect of training and competition satisfaction are two paths through which group cohesiveness influences pre-match emotions. The study came into the following suggestions.Firstly, since university male volleyball players don't perform well in group cohesiveness, training and competition satisfaction and anxieties,we strongly suggested that the coaches could improve the team's mental regulation level by setting up target, developing quality, increasing engagement and upgrading facilities.Secondly, according to the intermediary effect chart and effect paths,it is also suggested that the coaches should promote players' group cohesiveness, training and competition satisfaction, which could directly or indirectly regulate the players' negative emotions.Thirdly, group cohesiveness has more impact on pre-match anxieties than confidence. Therefore,it is promoted that group cohesiveness regulation could be carried out just before the match.
