Consumer confidence index refers to a consumer's psychological expectation of the current economic situation and a leading indicator for predicting economic trends and consumption trends.As China's economic development enters a new stage,the consumer confidence index is increasingly important as an indispensable basis for monitoring economic cycle changes.The current method of compiling the CCI mostly adopts the questionnaire survey method.Due to various reasons,low quality data and high cost impact index accuracy.Some scholars have proposed some ideas for the preparation of consumer confidence index,but there are few studies that conceive the concrete.This paper intends to explore a method for constructing consumer confidence intensity index using Internet public opinion related technology.This method will give some advices to the existing consumer confidence index survey methodsIn this paper,the consumer price confidence index is used as the measurement sub-index The reason for choosing the price sub-index is that for the price issue,the Consumer Price Index objectively reflects the price change.The network crawler technology is used to obtain relevant data,and after data preprocessing,the training set is manually labeled.The text classification model is combined with the sentiment analysis method based on sentiment dictionary to obtain the consumer price confidence index based on the Internet public opinion.This paper compares the intensity index of consumer price confidence,consumer price confidence index and CPI to verify the rationality and accuracy of the proposed consumer confidence intensity index.After completing the calculation of the consumer price confidence intensity index,the same method is used to calculate the consumer employment confidence intensity index to verify the mobility of the methodThe research in this paper shows that it is feasible to quantify the intensity of consumer confidence by using Internet public sentiment technology,and this method can be used as a new social survey method to extend to the study of similar problems.Moreover,the consumer confidence index constructed based on the Internet public opinion method can more accurately measure the subjective feelings of consumers.This method of mining information in the network lyric text can be extended to the study of similar problems as a new social investigation method.
