Accelerating the modernization of education was proposed in the report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,emphasizing the importance of effective integration of information technology and education.The Ministry of Education and other relevant departments have successively issued a series of related documents on the full use of virtual reality,human-computer interaction,virtual classrooms and other digital teaching methods in the field of education and teaching.China's education modernization reform is imminent.However,during the implementation of real the teaching activities,the application of information technology is not optimistic.Especially in the practical teaching of political courses in colleges and universities in China.The teaching method is older and older,and the teaching content is boring.This is in stark contrast to the characteristics of the new generation of college students.Such teaching methods not only limit the freedom of movement of students,but also limits their freedom of thinking.With the continuous development of information technology,virtual reality technology has gradually entered the public eye.Applying new technologies to the field of education has always been t0 he driving force to promote the continuous development of educational technology.Effectively integrating virtual reality technology with subject teaching,and constructing VR teaching model can achieve teaching with the times and truly realize the modernization of education.This study applies the red VR venue into the practical teaching of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities.In studying the relevant problems in the current situation of the practical teaching of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities,Analyzing of the limitations of traditional instructional design schemes.Designing a teaching design scheme that it based on constructive learning theory and situational cognitive theory and humanistic theory as the theoretical basis,combined with the characteristics of venue learning,constructed VR teaching model and based on red VR venues with immersion and interactivity.Then,undergraduate students of 17 th and 18 th grades of education technology majors of Henan Normal University are the research objects,implement case teaching,collect relevant data,and finally analyze the data and classroom effects.Explore the role and impact of virtual reality technology in subject teaching.This paper draws the following conclusions through inquiry: Applying the red VR venue to the practical teaching of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities has certain development prospects;It is helpful for students' interest in learning and enthusiasm for learning;At the same time,it is beneficial to the cultivation of students' self-learning ability,the cultivation of the ability to use information tools and the construction of the meaning of knowledge.Through the implementation of teaching activities and the analysis of effective data,this study also proposes improvement measures for optimizing teaching.For example,in the implementation process,it is necessary to add students' familiarity with VR equipment,increasing rich learning resources,solving difficulties in interaction,and making virtual venues more perfect.Finally,virtual reality technology and subject teaching should be effectively combined to achieve the fundamental purpose of implementing building a good character.
