| The model and its construction have wide application value in modern nature and social science.Models reduce the complexity of the objects they represent,making abstract,non-observable things more intuitive and easier to understand.Model building is short for modeling,that is,the process of model generation,which is dynamic and complex.In scientific research,the process of model building is also a process of continuous exploration and innovation.There are abundant modeling resources in high school biology courses,but most teachers tend to directly show models in class and ignore the process of modeling.In the new curriculum reform,it is proposed to develop students' discipline core literacy.According to the 2017 edition of high school biology curriculum standards,students are required to use models and modeling methods in scientific thinking.The development of modeling teaching has injected new vitality into modern classroom.Teachers try to make use of and develop the modeling resources in textbooks in teaching,and apply the model and modeling method reasonably in class,and infiltrate modeling ideas,which is of great benefit to optimizing the classroom effect and improving students' comprehensive ability.In this study,the author first clarified the relevant concepts of model and modeling through reading a large number of literature,understood the current situation of using modeling teaching in biology teaching at home and abroad,and conducted practical research on the basis of mastering relevant theoretical knowledge.In the early stage of the study,the application of models and modeling by biology teachers in luoyang senior high school and the current situation of model construction by senior high school students in luoyang city were investigated through questionnaire survey.Through the analysis of the current situation,the entry point and direction of practice were found out.In the middle stage,the author selected two classes with the same level as the research object.For the students in the experimental class,the process of modeling was made clear to them,and the model construction,model infiltration and modeling thinking were made clear in the class.In the control class,the model was not explicitly constructed in the class,but only mentioned when needed,so as to carry out experimental research for more than three months.At the end of the experiment,the students in the two classes' biology scores were understood through the simulation test,and the students' interest in biology courses was investigated through the questionnaire,so as to make a comparative analysis and draw a conclusion.The results of this study are shown in the following three aspects: the preliminary questionnaire results show that the current classroom teaching mode is still relatively rigid.On the one hand,students have a relatively simple understanding of model concepts,and their modeling ability needs to be improved.On the other hand,teachers seldom use the model in class,and do not give full play to the function of the model.The strategies of using models and modeling methods in class are as follows: clear modeling purpose and internal logic;emphasis on cultivating students' modeling thinking;focus on practicality and close to student life.After the end of the experiment,the simulation tests and the questionnaire survey results of two classes showed that the reasonable use of model and modeling in class can optimize the classroom structure and improve students' performance,and improve students' ability to identify and analyze models,and enhance students' interest in learning biology and improve classroom efficiency.In conclusion,the research results show that the application of model and modeling in teaching can indeed produce positive effects,and it is necessary to pay more attention to the teaching of model construction. |
