The Research On Strategies To Enhance International Communication Power Of Chinese Universities In The New Era

General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that "the power of communication determines influence and the right to speak determines the dominant power." Under the background of actively promoting the construction of'"double first-class" universities and striving to realize the fifth function of the university,"international exchanges and cooperation",the promotion of international communication of Chinese universities will enhance the international influence of universities and the "soft power" of national cu ture.This study was based on the Marxist view of journalism,Xi Jinping's important exposition on journalism,and the development demand of socialism with Chinese characteristics and focus on the promotion of international communication ability of Chinese Double First Class University.In this study,typical samples were analyzed in three key factors affecting communication ability:the main body of communication,the content of communication,and the media using database retrieval,big data analysis,and questionnaire survey.The current situation of international communication ability of sample universities was comprehensive displayed,and existing problems and reasons were discussed based on data analysis.The international communication power of Chinese universities can be improved by three key elements.In terms of the main body of communication,every university must adhere to the correct political orientation,strengthen the communication consciousness of the differences between internal and external,and establish a communication matrix.In terms of the domestic media,using foreign media,perfecting self-media and strengthening academic will be useful.For example,universities can strengthen academic service functions in social media and external promotion pages,so that actively attract international media practitioners.In terms of the content,universities should consider more about particularity of their audiences,outstanding its own advantages and highlights,and using big data to push information accurately.Government,schools,and individuals should work together to gradually enlarge the voice of Chinese universities,enhance the international influence of Chinese universities,and tell Chinese universities stories well and further tell Chinese stories well.
