Online Social Interest Groups(OSIG)are formed through network interpersonal contacts. They are linked by similar interests and only maintain interactive relationships on the Internet.Group identity is the degree of members who think they are related to the group, which has an important impact on self-perception.Studying group identity of network groups is beneficial for control of network public opinion and treatment of network events from the group perspective. Therefore,to analyze subjective well-being through the network of group activities can provide a better basis and support for management and optimization of the network environment.Subjective well-being is an important indicator of adolescents' positive psychological development. It refers to the individual's overall subjective evaluation of their quality of life from two main components:emotion and cognition.Self-esteem is also an important factor affecting adolescents' subjective well-being,and a protective factor of resilience as well.Moreover,self-esteem can significantly predict resilience. Therefore, studying how OSIG's group identity affect well-being is of great significance. This research combines participatory observation, interview and questionnaires.Research process:A total of960 questionnaires were collected, using adolescent group identity questionnaire,self-esteem scale,CD-RISC and subjective well-being scale.Among these,590 questionnaires were valid, and the validity rate was 61.45%.There were 316 boys and 274 girls, aged between 16 and 24,with an average age of 19.95.The subjects were categorized according to whether they participated.Among these,388 people participated in at least one online interest social group, accounting for 65.76%.The results show that:1.OSIG group identity can affect subjective well-being,which is indirectly predicted by the chain mediation of self-esteem and mental resilience.A total indirect effect in this study had a percentage of 74.70%.2.The group identity level of college students' online interest social groups was significantly lower than interest social groups in real life(t=-7.550,P<0.001),and the positive emotions of well-being is significantly lower(t=2.360,P<0.05).3.There is no significant difference in resilience between the groups participating in OSIG activities or not,but groups lacking online or traditional social relationships have low self-esteem(t=-2.207,t=-2.426,P<0.05).4.The number of the OSIG members is extremely large, but the proportion of active people behind this large number is quite low,and college students attach less importance to the interesting group online than that in life, the function of OSIG is relatively single. And OSIG is more to satisfy the existence of information acquisition or to get happy mood.Concludes:Participation in OSIG activities can improve group identity and subjective well-being,which is mediated by self-esteem and resilience. The discovery of this path has an important theoretical guiding significance for the management and intervention of networks and the study of well-being.
