The teaching of classical Chinese is one of the contents of Chinese teaching and an important part of Chinese teaching in middle schools.Critical thinking,that is,rational analysis,unremitting questioning and self-judgment thinking with certain standards,the cultivation of students' critical thinking ability in high Chinese language teaching is an important part of implementing the core literacy of the discipline.This study uses questionnaires and interviews to investigate the actual status of high school students' critical thinking ability in the process of learning classical Chinese.The survey found that high school students have a certain logical thinking ability in the study of classical Chinese,but there is less contact with critical thinking knowledge,and the knowledge acquired is not systematic;there is a common learning method;tend to study independently;the fear of the teacher is obvious,the investigation is also It is obvious that teachers do not pay enough attention to students' critical thinking training.On this basis,the reasons for the low critical thinking ability of students in high Chinese language teaching are analyzed,including: the long-distance reading materials of classical Chinese;the solidification of students' mindset;the obsolete concept of teachers;the penetration of traditional cultural views;There are several aspects such as a single form.Based on the existing problems in the investigation,combined with the thinking characteristics of high school students at this stage,the research attempts to propose an optimization strategy: In view of the phenomenon that students are afraid of learning classical Chinese,this study attempts to stimulate students' interest in classical Chinese reading and create a learning situation with thinking challenges for students.In view of students' lack of systematic thinking knowledge,it can broaden the necessary thinking knowledge for students to break the barriers of traditional thinking.In view of the monotonous learning method of classical Chinese,we can try to innovate the argumentative reading method to further cultivate students' critical thinking ability.Aiming at the fact that the teachers do not attach importance to the cultivation of critical thinking as a whole,this paper proposes to update the thinking system of Chinese teachers and help them establish the teaching concept of wisdom and diversity.In addition,scientific evaluation mechanism should be set up to promote the joint development of teachers and students.
