Collaborative online learning is a learning and teaching activity mode in which learners base on common learning objectives,interact with other participants to construct knowledge and achieve optimal learning effects in an information technology environment.With the continuous enrichment of online learning resources and the endless emergence of online education products,learners' experience of online learning has become the focus of many researchers and designers.As the target group of online learning,learners' perception and experience of online learning are not only related to their willingness to use,but also have an important influence on learning effect and course improvement.However,collaborative online courses are at the initial stage of development.Therefore,it is particularly important to study learners' online learning experience and its influencing factors.Through sorting out the research results of online learning experience at home and abroad,this study has concluded the dimensions of online learning experience,such as platform,teaching,society and cognition,and discussed the factors influencing online learning experience from the perspective of curriculum components and user experience.Based on The Community of Inquiry and Experiential Learning Theory,this study constructed a theoretical model,proposed relevant hypotheses,and revised The Community of Inquiry questionnaire developed by Arbaugh et al.as the main part of the collaborative online learning experience and its influencing factors scale.This study adopted the method of survey and adopts the questionnaire star of the professional statistical platform to conduct a pre-survey and a formal survey on the students studying the Science of Educational Communication in M university.SPSS 22.0 was used to conduct a series of empirical analysis on the survey data,including descriptive statistics,reliability and validity analysis,correlation analysis,variance analysis,linear regression analysis,etc.The theoretical model was modified based on the analysis results,the research hypothesis was verified,and the research conclusion was drawn:(1)Learners' overall experience of collaborative online courses is good,among which learners' experience of teaching presence is the best,followed by social presence and cognitive presence,and their satisfaction with platform experience is thelowest.There are significant differences between learners' gender,online learning experience,login frequency and online learning period and some aspects of collaborative online learning experience.(2)The main factors influencing collaborative online learning experience are as follows: Firstly,the three factors of "trigger event","solution" and "design and organization" are the main factors affecting collaborative online learning experience.Secondly,factors such as "self-efficacy","platform perception","implementation guidance","emotional expression","communication and atmosphere",and "inquiry integration" are not direct factors affecting collaborative online learning experience.Thirdly,there is a significant internal correlation among all the influencing factors,which affects indirectly learners' experience.Finally,this study puts forward the following suggestions for the design and organization of collaborative online learning which based on the findings of the survey: Firstly,the course designer should clearly convey the course theme and objectives,reasonably plan the schedule of collaborative online learning activities,and provide clear guidance and instructions for learners to participate in collaborative online learning;Secondly,the creation of collaborative online courses should focus on the design of online discussion topics,especially the introduction of discussion topics and the practical application of knowledge.Thirdly,teachers(teaching assistants)can promote and guide learners to participate in learning activities by providing timely feedback,encouragement and praise according to learners' cognitive style.
