With the layout adjustment in primary schools and middle schools,boarding schools become the principal form to set up schools for compulsory education in rural areas.In recent years,the phenomenon of low-aged boarding students has become increasingly prominent.How's the status quo of the boarding schools for low-aged students in the ethnic regions in Yunnan Province?What are the problems of the management of these schools?Why exist these problems?How can we optimize the management in the boarding schools for low-aged students in these areas?Primary School H in Shilin County,Yunnan Province is the case of our research.Our research,in a more authentic and objective way,explores the operational situation of the educational and regulatory system in the boarding school.Our research presents the current situation and problems in managing the boarding schools in Shilin ethnic regions.Through the interviews with the leaders of local educational and regulatory departments,school teachers,students and parents,the thesis makes an object and multi-dimensional analysis of the current situation of boarding schools in Shilin County.Meanwhile,this research provides some countermeasures for improvement for boarding situation in China's rural area.The thesis is divided into four parts.The first part talks about the background and significance of the research,collates the relevant literature at home and abroad,and establishes the research ideas and methods of the core of this thesis.The second part introduces the historical background of China's boarding education management system and analyzes its values and functions.The third part analyzes the present situation of low-aged boarding students in the sample school through on-the-spot investigation,and observes the educational management system of the boarding school for low-aged students.The discussion focuses on problems of the school from four aspects:students' academic performance,socialization development,moral development and emotional attribution.The fourth part summarizes the problems existing in the educational management system of boarding schools for low-aged students in ethnic areas and analyzes the causes.The fifth part tries to raise measures to optimize the education management of boarding schools for low-aged students on the basis of related theories and investigation.
