Study On The Career Development Planning Of Sports Teachers In Sports Colleges Of Liaoning Province

Career development planning is a critical initiative for the construction of college teachers,which has been valued by an increasing number of college teachers.Sports teachers are one of the most important human resources in sports colleges.Their career status is not only an important guarantee for their own career development,but also affects the quality and potential of education in sports colleges.Therefore,career development planning is of great significance to sports teachers.This paper applies the general career planning theory to the career planning of sports teachers to draw the conclusions and come up with suggestions.It takes the career development planning of sports teacher in sports colleges of Liaoning province as the research object,and applies research approaches including literature method,questionnaires,expert interviews,mathematical statistics,logical analysis and so on.This paper investigates the current situation and existing problems in the career development planning of sports teachers in sports colleges of Liaoning province,summarizes the causes,and reaches the following conclusions:1.The career development planning of sports teachers in sports colleges are mainly composed of three dimensions: self and environmental awareness,implementation of career development plans,feedback and adjustment.2.Comparing the conditions of the career development planning of sports teachers in different sports colleges,Shenyang Sports University and Northeastern University are relatively good.3.Comparing the conditions of the career development planning of sports teachers in sports colleges in the aspect of title of a technical post,teaching assistants are significantly better than associate professors in the implementation of career development plans.4.Comparing the conditions of the career development planning of sports teachers in sports colleges in different ages,sports teachers who are 20 to 40 years old are significantly better than those who are 41 to 50 years old in terms of the implementation of their career development plans.Meanwhile sports teacher who are 31 to 40 years old are significantly better than those who are 41 to 50 years old in terms of feedback and adjustment.5.Comparing the conditions of the career development planning of sports teachers in sports college in the aspect of different educational background,sports teachers with master's or PhD degrees are significantly better than those who are bachelor degrees in terms of implementing their career development plans,as well as getting feedback and making adjustments.6.Comparing the conditions of the career development planning of sports teacher in sports colleges in the aspect of different gender and marital status,sports teachers who are male or female,married or unmarried do not have a clear difference in their career development planning.The following suggestions are made based on the above conclusions:1.It is incumbent upon the colleges to have career development plans for their sports teachers.Colleges should strengthen the guidance of the career development planning for the sports teachers from the three mentioned dimensions.2.To solve the existing problems of associate professors and 41 to 50 years old sports teachers with their career development planning,colleges need to affirm the value of their work and increase the proportion of subject leaders and core teachers.At the same time,the teachers themselves also need to cultivate awareness of self-development,and make career development planning beliefs take root in the heart.Therefore,they can carry out positive career develop plans.3.To help sports teachers with bachelor degree on their career development planning,the related organizations need to formulate clear guidance for development planning,encourage individuals to pursue advanced education,and provide training opportunities and specific development strategies when necessary.
