| The development of modern information technology has put forward new requirements for the teaching ability of chemistry teachers.The ability of chemistry teachers to master better information technology is an inherent need to cope with the challenges of traditional classroom teaching in the digital age,to respond to curriculum reform and to improve teaching effectiveness.This paper uses the literature method,investigation method and other research methods to investigate and analyze the information technology application ability of chemistry teachers in ordinary high school in Lianyuan City,Hunan Province.The study has found that chemistry teachers have a good recognition for the application of information technology in teaching,but most chemistry teachers are not skilled in processing and innovating information resources,and most teachers can only operate simple information technology equipment,but they are unfamiliar with operating new equipments.They are initiative to utilize common information technology to engage in teaching activities,but they are more passive to use professional software and emerging teaching software.Their ability to evaluate chemical information resources is low,but their ability to use information technology to collect courseware or cases is strong.However,they pay less attention to information resources with scientific research value,and most of them can not deal with most of the chemical information resources,and can’t understand the various new teaching modes of information technology applied to teaching,and are relatively unfamiliar with the application of information technology to teachers and students Classroom teaching interactions.The study also has found that there are some shortcomings in the application of chemistry teachers’ information technology.First,Chemistry teachers are not very knowledgeable about information technology,knowledge reserves are not rich enough,and the application of information technology to teaching management is not strong.Second,the evaluation ability of information technology is relatively lacking.Third,They lack ability to learn and innovate information technology.The external reasons for the above-mentioned deficiencies include their own insufficient ability,lack of self-directed learning,and the internal factors include imperfect related systems and unreasonable training systems and so on.Finally,this paper believes that it is possible to improve the information technology application ability of high school chemistry teachers by improving the platform construction level of information technology,attaching importance to training activities for chemistry teachers’ information technology application capabilities,creating the diversity of training activities,establishing a reasonable training evaluation system,and strengthening the management level of information technology work.,giving full play to the individual’s initiative and so on. |
