Nowadays,the advanced modern media technology and explosively growing We-Media affect the pupils extremely.At present,there are many researches and concerns about the media literacy of primary school students,but there's little education for pupils in the rural areas,which is also a problem that researchers and practitioners need to be solved urgently with focuses.This research believes that the media literacy education for rural pupils should be cultivated from four aspects: educational idea,educational resources,curriculum and teaching.Therefore,the insufficient media literacy education for rural pupils is manifested in following aspects:Firstly,the teachers and school managers can't keep up with the time and unable to update their minds.Secondly,there few educational resources available for schools in the countryside to develop media literacy education.Thirdly,both school-based and elective courses neglect the cultivation of the students' media literacy.Fourthly,the content of media literacy education that should have appeared and been cultivated in teaching is neglected or didn't play its role,and teachers still use traditional teaching methods.To solve above problems,the reasons for the lack of media literacy education in rural primary schools are as follows: Firstly,in the educational ideal aspect,teachers don't understand the media literacy education of the pupils and leave it to family education to shift the responsibility;Secondly,in the educational resource aspect,the establishment of rural alliance primary school makes educational resources mixed,and the reconstruction of schools makes the funds seriously inadequate,leading to the inability to understand and introduce the advanced educational technology.Thirdly,in the curriculum aspect,the fixed format of school's curriculum and casual teaching hinder the proceeding of pupils' media literacy education.Fourthly,in the teaching,the largest problem of rural primary schools lies in the issues of teachers' aging phenomenon.As a result,they can't understand the advanced educational means and cope with current electronic media.To end above problems and causes,the author still makes analysis from the four aspects and puts forward corresponding suggestions,and points out that we must improve on the basis onteachers' guidance and school infrastructure,and enhance the students' media literacy from the school education...
