Objective: To explore the application effect of Image Training in the teaching of college tennis general courses by studying the influence of image training on students' learning interest and confidence,tennis technology mastery and teaching effect.Methods: Using the experimental method,students in class 1 and class 2,majoring in social sports guidance and management of grade 2017,physical education college of Anyang normal university were selected as experimental subjects(a total of44 male students,with an average age of 19.20 ± 0.76 years old).Before the experiment,the students' representation ability,personality characteristics,tennis cognition,learning interest and confidence level were investigated to ensure the identity of the subjects.The control group adopted the traditional teaching method of teacher demonstration-student imitation exercise-teacher touring instruction-student practice,and the experimental group used the teaching method of teacher demonstration-student representation exercise-student imitation exercise-teacher touring instruction-student practice to conduct a 12-week teaching experiment.After the experiment,the recognition degree of teaching methods,classroom atmosphere,learning effect,independent learning situation,effective number of forehand and backhand shots,technical evaluation results were tested,and the Chinese version SPSS 19.0 was used for statistical analysis of various data.Result:1.There were no significant differences between the two groups in the general situation,imagery ability,personality characteristics,learning interest,learning confidence,and the cognition of tennis(P>0.05).2.There was no statistically significant difference in the imagery ability,learning interest and confidence scores between the control group before and after the experiment(P>0.05),and the scores of tennis cognitive scores were significant different(P<0.01).The experimental group had statistically significant differences in the scores of image ability,tennis learning interest,learning confidence and cognitive after the experiment(P<0.01).After the experiment,there were significant differences in the scores of students' imagery ability,learning interest,learning confidence and tennis cognitive between two groups.3.After the experiment,there were significant differences between the groups in the scores of acceptance of teaching methods and classroom atmosphere(P<0.01),aswell as significant differences in learning effect and self-learning score(P<0.05).4.There was no significant differences between the two groups in the effective number of forward and backhand hits and technical evaluation scores(P>0.05).But the passing rate of forehand stroke was significant different(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Imagery training can significantly improve the image ability of male students majoring in Social Sports.2.The application of Imagery training in the teaching of forehand and backhand stroke in college tennis general courses can make boys majoring in social sports obtain a higher sense of achievement and significantly improve students' interest in tennis learning,confidence in tennis learning and tennis cognition level;It can better activate the classroom atmosphere,improve students' independent learning ability and learning effect,so as to obtain a higher degree of recognition from students.3.The promotion effect of Imagery training on the skills of boys majoring in social sports is better than that of traditional teaching methods.
