| The development of China’s economic and the improvement of its international status have provided new support and guarantee for Chinese to spread and develop.Among Southeast Asian countries,Thailand is the country with the largest number of Chinese speakers.As an indispensable tool in teaching,textbooks play a major role in teaching.Chinese schools in Thailand are located everywhere,and they attach great importance to Chinese teaching.Each region and school choose textbooks according to their own economic conditions and teaching needs,but there are also some problems when selecting and using Chinese textbooks.Most Chinese school in Thailand use Hanyu(adapted from the Chinese People’s Education Edition textbook)due to the cooperation between China and Thailand.However,the author finds that not all Chinese schools use this set of teaching materials.Based on the emergence of this problem,the author used the primary school Chinese textbooks(Zhongwen,Hanyu,and Happy Learning Chinese)selected by the three schools in Chonburi to conduct research.Through theoretical research and questionnaires and the method of observation,this passage studied the use of the three sets of textbooks,found that when students and teachers are using textbooks,the utilization rates are not very high,relevant teaching materials are lacked,and teacher and student’ satisfaction aren’t same and other related issues.According to these specific issues,the author gives some suggestions about how to use textbooks,helping teachers and students improve the usage of textbooks based on existing textbooks,and better complete “teaching” and “learning”.Limited to the author’s research ability,there are also some shortcomings: due to the accuracy of the translation and the limitations of students’ understanding,the data may have errors;the scope of the data survey does not involve the rest of the region,and the representation is insufficient.If have the opportunity to continue research in the future,the author can check and fill in the gaps to improve the research content. |
