The standard of Chinese course of ordinary high school(2017 edition)added the ‘Development and Promotion of Thinking' to the “Chinese core literature attainment” for the first time.And put forward higher request to the high school students' thinking mode and quality.Among many kinds of writing style,the relationship between argumentative and thinking is the most close.We found that senior high school students' argumentative writing ability is weak and have problems in analysis and demonstration.The author believes that mind mapping can be introduced to assist argumentation and help students write argumentative essays.Mind mapping is a visualization tool of thinking proposed by British scholar Tony Bozan.It can effectively stimulate,organize and guide people to think better.High School argumentative writing teaching generally lacks effective process guidance,attaches great importance to the training of writing skills,ignores the training of thinking,which limits the improvement of students' writing ability and the development of thinking.Mind mapping is conducive to guiding the thinking process and improving the quality and efficiency of thinking processing.In argumentative writing,drawing mind map can make the thinking and structure of argumentation clearer,and also help to examine the topic and plan the layout of the paper.At present,many teachers have realized the value of mind mapping in writing training and tried to apply it to the teaching of argumentative writing.However,the relevant practice or research are lack of systematicness,and they lack in-depth understanding of the value,principle,strategy and process of mind mapping in writing.In view of this,the paper launched a comprehensive and in-depth exploration.The paper consists of the following parts:The introduction include the background and significance,defines the core concepts,and explains the research contents and methods.The first chapter is the theoretical overview of this paper.This paper combs the requirements of the new Chinese curriculum standard for the development of students' thinking,analyses the application value of mind mapping in thinking training and discourse writing teaching.The second chapter is the problem exploration.Through the analysis of the students' argumentative writing,this chapter points out the problems existing in the current high school exposition writing,and analyses the causes of these problems.On the other hand,combined with the existing cases of applying mind mapping to writing guidance,this paper summarizes the misunderstandings in the application of mind mapping in the teaching of exposition writing.The third chapter is strategy research.On the basis of one or two chapters and combining with teaching practice,this paper formulates the application strategies of mind mapping in the teaching of discourse writing in senior high schools,which are discussed from three aspects: the idea of examining topics,conception and revision.The last part is the conclusion.This part mainly emphasizes several important conclusions in the paper and puts forward some problems needing attention.
