Study On Idol Worship And Education Guidance In Senior Pupils In Primary Schools

Idol has a great influence on a person.In recent years,idolatry has attracted widespread concern among scholars,and research on idolatry has emerged.The existing research mainly focuses on the idol worship phenomenon of college students and teenagers,but few scholars study the idol worship of Senior Pupils in Primary Schools.This paper will carry out the research on idolatry of senior pupils in primary schools in order to find out the status quo of the idol worship of senior pupils in primary schools,analyze their problems in idolatry,explore the causes of their problems,and put forward practical strategies for the guidance of idolatry for senior pupils in primary schools.This paper uses McCutcheon's Celebrity Attitude Scale as a blueprint,adjusts according to China's actual situation,and investigates the status quo of idol worship of primary school students in primary schools,which constitutes a questionnaire about 853 senior pupils students from 5 primary schools in Chongqing to invest the status quo of idol worship.The results show that the phenomenon of idol worship in senior pupils in primary schools in Chongqing is very common,but the degree of idolatry is not obvious.In addition,the idolatry phenomenon of senior pupils has a tendency to develop irrationally.Rural pupils are more likely to worship idols than urban pupils,and girls are more likely to worship idols than boys.Pupils who worship virtual characters are more likely to fall into deep-seated irrational worship than those who adore other types of idols.Most idolatry in primary school students are star idols,and pupils pay more attention to the external image of idols and ignore their internal qualities.In the phenomenon of worship,girls are more likely to worship idols than boys,but among those who worship,boys are more likely to fall into irrational worship than girls.The involvement degree of idolatry in primary school students is positively related to the time of idolatry,and the longer the idolatry time is,the easier it is to fall into the irrational worship of idols.In view of the problems existing in idolatry,this paper puts forward the reasons for the existence of idolatry from the aspects of students,school,family and society.This paper thinks that the reason for the idol worship of the senior pupils in primary schools is that the students are in the psychology of the crowd,the necessary stage of psychological and identity establishment;the effect of school model education is sharply reduced,idol education is not systematic;parents and children lack of communication,parental education is improper,and the idol worship of children is lacking;social network “making stars” is intensifying,and the lack of social responsibility of the mass media has caused many problems of idolatry in primary school.Based on the attribution analysis of the idol worship in the senior pupils in primary schools,this paper puts forward the educational guiding strategy for the idol worship of the primary school pupils based on the principle of "teaching according to the aptitude","dissolving the barriers","student-oriented",and "critical inheritance".The specific strategies include: respecting the primary status of primary school students,giving play to the demonstration function of the peer group,and giving play to the educational function of the Young Pioneers;the school should help the primary school students to carry out cognitive counseling and media literacy education,then use idols to carry out education;parents in the family should rationally treat their children's worship,attach importance to their mental health education,and correctly guide their idolatry;society should enhance the new generation of model influence,regulate public figures and words to guide society.The atmosphere will improve the legal literacy of media people and enhance their sense of social responsibility.
