With the continuous development of the country and the continuous progress of science and technology,the requirement for talent training ability of independent colleges is constantly improving.For independent colleges,adequate student resources guarantee can maintain their normal operation,as well as the upgrading of hardware equipment and teachers.Influenced by the policy,the annual enrollment of independent colleges is determined by the comprehensive quality of graduates,so cultivating qualified talents is also the most important goal for independent colleges.Counselor is a very special job.Its ability level can even decide whether a student’s psychological aspect is perfect or not and the development of its work after graduation.Therefore,counselor’s ability is a very important part of College Students’ education service.The research on the influencing factors of counselors’ leadership in independent colleges can help counselors in Independent Colleges realize the importance of their work more objectively,increase their knowledge reserves in all aspects,and strengthen their sense of honor and dedication to their duties.At the same time,it is also one of the important ways to strengthen the overall quality of education in independent colleges.Through the promotion and strengthening of the leadership of counselors,the purpose of improving students’ management ability is realized.This paper uses the methods of documentation,questionnaire and interview,and takes the counselors and students of Xi’an as the objects to analyze the current situation of counselors’ leadership in the Independent College.On this basis,this paper explores the deficiencies of independent college counselors in leadership,and based on leadership theory,it analyses the influencing factors of independent college counselors’ leadership from two aspects of position power and personality charm,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions according to the analysis results.This paper puts forward the following suggestions for improving the leadership of counselors in independent colleges: starting from the two dimensions of position power and personal charm.We should vigorously improve the status quo of counselors’ work,divide their work content vertically and finely,and make the counselors develop toward the direction of "specialization and expert-type".At the same time,we should start from the economic and spiritual aspects of counselors to enhance their working motivation,motivate their enthusiasm and enhance the influence of counselors’ position power in independent colleges.From the personal point of view,counselors themselves should clarify the direction of their career progress,establish a correct concept of career prospects,and constantly improve their knowledge,culture and ability deficiencies,and strive to enhance their personal charm,so as to better help students grow.With the improvement of students’ comprehensive quality,the number of students enrolled in independent colleges can be guaranteed every academic year.
