| With the acceleration of social informationization and frequent interpersonal communication,oral communication has become an important way of human social communication,and oral communication teaching and teaching of various disciplines complement each other.Task-based teaching method,which emerged in the 1980 s,is a foreign language teaching method advocated by the Ministry of Education.It advocates people-oriented,task-oriented,and students fulfill various communicative tasks in practice.This teaching method has a relatively perfect system from theoretical exploration to practical application,but there are few studies on oral Chinese communicative teaching,so the author launched a bold attempt in this field.This paper takes Xinpu Middle School in Lianyungang City as the research object,focuses on the application of task-based teaching method in oral communication teaching in senior high school,and discusses the application of task-based teaching method in oral communication teaching in senior high school from the following aspects:The first part is the introduction,explaining the reasons for choosing the topic,reviewing the research status of task-based teaching and oral communication teaching at home and abroad,collecting and collating literature extensively,broadening horizons,and determining research methods,which lay a theoretical foundation for the writing of this paper.The second part,takes Xinpu Middle School in Lianyungang City of Jiangsu Province as the research object,systematically analysing the reasons that hinder the development of oral communication teaching in senior high schools.Firstly,this paper investigates the students’ perception,classroom performance and extracurricular activities of oral communication teaching.Through the analysis,it is found that students lack correct understanding of oral communication.In the process of communication,students are active but afraid to speak in public because of their lack of self-confidence.In addition,the influence of family environment and the use of dialect and local language have affected the accuracy of communication expression and hindered the improvement of students’ oral communicative competence.In addition,although students in three-star schools have rich life experience,they often fail to express themselves in words because of their small reading volume and less knowledge reserve.Secondly,the survey on the development of oral communication teaching shows that although some achievements have been made in teaching,there are still many problems,such as lack of sequence in teaching,neglect of the creation of teaching situations,disjointed listening,speaking,reading and writing,classroom becoming a stage for a few excellent students,and weak awareness of the application of task-based teaching method.Aimed at the problems found in the survey and combined with the basic theory of research,the third part first combs the application of task-based teaching method,then uses the teaching concept to design teaching cases,guides students to "learn by doing" through practical teaching,actively participates in learning in the created teaching situation,constructs language,improves expression ability,and makes up for the shortcomings of traditional teaching.The fourth part puts forward the implementation strategy of task-based teaching method on the basis of theory and practice.The research shows that the application of task-based teaching method in oral communication teaching in senior high school is of great significance in improving teaching environment,enhancing students’ participation in class,mobilizing their enthusiasm for learning and improving their oral communication level. |
