At present,the education in china is segmented in junior high school and senior high school.Meanwhile,because the teaching contents have a large skip between them,only after having learned the course for a year can students study biology in senior high school.Due to the long time interval,students have forgot the knowledge they learned before,it's difficult for them to establish the connection between junior high school and senior high school knowledge,and they can't catch up with the learning intensity,which makes them become weary of study.Therefore,it is essential to do some research about the cohesion of the textbooks in biology.This paper is aimed at providing some theoretical basis for the teaching connection in biology by analyzing the juncture of the teaching materials and clearing up the linkage relations between the knowledge of junior high school and senior high school.This thesis consists of 5 parts,including the introduction,the contents and methods of study,the results and analysis,the proposal and countermeasure,and the conclusion and the reflection.This thesis adopts many methods,such as the literature research,comparative analysis,content analysis method and graphical,to conduct a study of the curriculum standard and do a research on the cohesion between the textbooks in junior middle school and senior high school with ten main themes as the subject of study.To be more specific,the structure,essence basic concept and aim of curriculum are analyzed,from which a conclusion can be drawed that there is a close connection among the several aspects mentioned above.Moreover,five themes have the closest contact among the ten main themes.They are the layer of structure of organisms,the organisms and environment,the green plants of biosphere,the reproduction and hereditary of organisms,and the diversity of organisms.Moreover,there are 3 forms of the connection of teaching type.They are progressive type,similarity and complementation.which makes some language points have a large span.After analyzing the connection of textbooks,this paper also has designed a lesson plan about photosynthesis to offer a reference for the linking teaching and put forward some suggestions and reflections for further education and teaching.First,read the criterion carefully and explore new teaching ideas.Second,develop a good habit of applying the text.Third,pay more attention to the students' psychology and their learning differences.Finally,promote the communication of teachers in different teaching sections.
