The comprehensive practical activity curriculum,which is a compulsory course prescribed by the national compulsory school and ordinary senior high school curriculum,is an important part of the basic education curriculum reform.The comprehensive practical activity curriculum has unique cultivating value in guiding the students to face the problem in life,explore the solutions and try if the solutions work.The curriculum also has unique clutivating value in developing students’ sense of responsibility,awareness of innovation and ability of practice.However,because the comprehensive practical activity course is a newly opened course,which are highly comprehensive and open,teachers face lots of difficulty in the implementation of the comprehensive practical activity curriculum.The difficulities include,incomplete curriculum planning and management system,limited time and space as well as,lack of professional course teachers and supporting facilities.Among them,the major difficulty is how to design the theme in the implementation process.Due to the limitation of teachers’ curriculum awareness and curriculum ability,the design of the the theme content and the mode of activity lacks the gradient,integration and optimization,which leads to the failure to achieve the expected goals in the implementation process.In order to promote the continuous development of students’ comprehensive quality,it is particularly important to design the theme of the activity scientifically and reasonably,and to deal with the connection of the activities between the different school sections and or different grades in the same school section in the theme design.This author uses the literature research and survey method to analyze the objective basis and ideological basis of curriculum design,explores theprinciples,ideas,content,goals and strategies of progressive theme design,and proposes suggestions on promoting the implementation of progressive theme activities.This paper develops the research of progressive theme design from five aspects.The basic contents are as follows:The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the reason for progressive theme design,the purpose,significance,ideas and methods of the research.In the literature review,the researcher has sorted out the domestic and foreign curriculums,implementations and results of the comprehensive practical activity,enlightenment of the existing research on this research,a theoretical foundation for the follow-up research.The author believes that "progress" exists in all aspects of the objective world,and the "progress" in the theme of the activity is based on the goal requirements of the curriculum guideline and the level of cognitive development of students.In view of this,this study takes several core issues as an example to explore how to design a layer-by-layer progressive and spiraling activity theme around the core subject matter of a research according to the students level..The second part explains the basics of progressive theme design.The objective basis was analyzed from understanding the needs of students,the connection with social life,and the development of disciplines.The ideological basis are Piaget’s cognitive development stage theory and constructivist learning theory,Bruner spiral curriculum design theory,Schwab practice and compromise curriculum design theory,Rogers meaning learning theory and educational target classification theory rational understanding activity theme design.In the part,the author makes clear the starting point of the theme design and emphasizes the theme design of activies should reflect the characteristics of process,developmen,quence and educatio.The objective basis and ideological basis of the theme design of the activity are rationally explained,so that the research has obtained the guidance of theory and thought.The third part discusses the principles of progressive theme design.The theme content should start with some from simple to materials and then add some difficulties to it gradually.The content should be integrated and make it possible for teachers to create situations.The theme of leap is focusing on integration and promoting a leap.There are many design subject sand the theme generation methods which can provide problems for students.The design idea of the main is overall construction and experience-based.The design process is democratic and dynamic.This part has become the theoretical framework of the theme design of the activity.The fourth part constructs the framework of the progressive theme design.Based on the spirit of the curriculum guidance in the “Guidelines for the Curriculum of ComprehensivePractical Activities in Primary and Secondary Schools” issued by the State in 2017.Starting from the hierarchy of the students’ years,the content and goal of the theme are gradually deepen with the increase of age.According to the four main ways of inquiry in the comprehensive practical activity curriculum,the the content of the theme is divided into the subject of inquiry activity,included the theme of social service activities,the theme of design and production activities,and the theme of professional experience activities.Four different types of progressive topic sequences are exemplified.From the above-mentioned theme content,the specific goals of each stage are constructed.The dimensions of the theme objectives are divided into cognitive goals,attitude value goals and skill goals,emphasizing the development of basic goals to advanced goals.When constructing the topic sequence,it is necessary to clarify the theme design ideas,use information technology to break the time and space boundaries of the content,construct a hierarchical and serialized theme,and grasp the progress of each level of the topic according to the characteristics of the students’ cognitive development level,and define the theme.The integration of the content entry point and path.The fifth part are about some suggestions on how to design theme activity progressively.In order to promote the development of progressive theme practice activities,this paper puts forward the following suggestions: actively carry out research on comprehensive practical activity courses;strengthen the development of professional teacher,improve curriculum implementation ability;focus on curriculum resource development,establish curriculum resource sharing mechanism;improve the construction of school curriculum system to guarantees the normal implementation of the curriculum. |
