The Impact Of Human Capital On Economic Growth In Northeast China

Nowadays,the economy of Northeast China has entered a new stage of development,the structural reform of supply side has achieved initial results,the industrial structure has been optimized,and the high-tech industry has developed vigorously.At the same time,there are some problems such as unbalanced development within the region,insufficient investment in science and technology,and lack of innovation ability.In order to realize the new round of revitalization plan in Northeast China,besides increasing the investment of material capital,the investment of human capital is also a key link.Therefore,how to effectively increase human capital investment and improve the level of human capital in Northeast China to achieve economic growth in Northeast China has become the core of this study.Therefore,it can be concluded that human capital plays a decisive role in economic growth based on the literature review.According to the actual situation in Northeast China,the influence of human capital on economic growth has been studied.First,this study expounds the concept and the measure of human capital and economic growth,the human capital and economic growth theory and its development,elaborates on the endogenous growth theory that highlights the role of human capital and analyzes the impact mechanism of human capital on economic growth.Then the current situations of the human capital and economic growth in the Northeast have been analyzed.Furthermore,based on the theoretical basis and actual situation,the empirical model has been constructed,variables have been selected and the data has been descripted.The results show that in the economic growth of Northeast China,the influence coefficient of human capital on economic growth is greater than the influence coefficient of material capital.The human capital stock and human capital level play a decisive role in the economic growth of the Northeast and has a long-term effect.Finally,based on the results,suggestions for promoting economic growth in the Northeast are proposed from five aspects: increasing investment in education of human capital,adjusting the internal structure of high-level labor,vigorously developing formal vocational education,guiding competent people to divert and widen employment channels,promoting industrial upgrading and stimulating entrepreneurial innovation potential.
