With the strengthening of China's national strength,more and more students come to study,"study in China fever" has become a trend.As of December 31,2015,a total of 397,635 Chinese students from 202 countries and regions studied in 811 higher schools,research institutes and other teaching institutions in 31 provinces,autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government The This paper chooses the students studying in China University of Petroleum as the research object,and uses the methods of literature analysis,questionnaire survey and individual interview.Firstly,some concepts related to international students are defined,and SWOT theory and PEST theory are used as the theoretical support of this paper.Secondly,it analyzes the current situation of the study on the development of studying abroad in China and the present situation of studying abroad in China.The first part is the demographic information and the reasons and purpose of the students studying at the China University of Petroleum.The second part is the statistics of the three aspects of the enrollment process,teaching management and logistics management.The third part Is a semi-open issue,the purpose is to understand the students in the school management problems.The interview was divided into two parts: the management of the students and the students.The main contents of the interview were the problems that were not covered in the questionnaire and the question of further study in the questionnaire.On the basis of using SWOT analysis and PEST analysis,this paper analyzes the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and challenges of developing our education in China.The advantages of the main international exchanges in Qingdao City is increasingly strengthened;West Coast new economic development is rapid;superior geographical location and environment;teaching quality is higher,academic reputation further improved;study costs more appropriate to meet the psychology of students.Disadvantages are mainly scholarship coverage is not wide;curriculum materials set to internationalization to be improved;discipline is relatively single professional.Opportunities are mainly China's sustained and rapid economic growth,foreign exchange and cooperation continue to deepen;"one way" strategy implementation;"double first-class" university construction opportunities.Challenges are mainly international student market competition is increasingly fierce;to study the development of China's social education environment is poor;school conditions to be improved.Finally,the author puts forward the strategy of promoting the development of our school in China: strengthening the school "top design" and development planning;perfecting the system mechanism construction;strengthening the quality assurance of education and teaching.
