Online education has the problems of low participation rate and poor learning effect,and calls for more accurate online learning support services.Considering the limitations of the number of online learners,the input of manpower and cost,learner group identification based on data analysis will help to achieve accurate online learning support services.Therefore,in order to achieve more accurate online learning support services,this research uses the application value of learners persona on the group identification,focusing on the problem of how to support the learner in online learning support services,developing the design of online learning support service strategies based on learner persona,and conducting case study.In the stage of theoretical research,this study mainly focused on literature research to design strategies for online learning support services.First of all,based on the analysis results of online learners' characteristics,considering some influencing factors in the data collection stage.From the perspective of "basic attribute-behavior attribute-result attribute",this study constructed an online learner persona model and its construction process applicable to online learning support service strategies design.Then this study analyzed online learning support service contents based on learning analytics by analyzing ten typical international learning analytics framework,summed up four types of typical online learning support service contents,namely learning feedback service,study early warning service,learning intervention service,and personalized recommendation service,and put these as the basis of online learning support service strategies design.Finally,this study took the principles of accuracy,dynamics,timeliness,cost control and enforceability,and used grouping and process as design ideas,the online learning support service strategies design framework based on learner persona was constructed.The framework used the learner persona analysis to identify the learner groups and analyze the service preferences and behavior characteristics of different groups,and took the environmental factors such as cost andtechnology into consideration to select the appropriate service content and service mode for different groups of learners.Specifically,persona analysis was carried out dynamically in three stages of "before learning","during learning" and "after learning" in the learning process.Finally,service strategy reports based on service preference,behavior characteristics and academic performance would be generated correspondingly to provide service implementation basis for relevant support service personnel in the teaching process.In the applied research stage,the case study method was used to carry out case practice analysis on the basis of theoretical research.This study selected an online course of Shanghai Open University in the fall semester of 2018.According to the online learner persona model and its construction process,it collected student data and conducted persona modeling through questionnaires and platform logs.Then,under the guidance of the service strategies design framework,the data analysis method of descriptive analysis,correlation analysis and cluster analysis methods were used to analyze the persona before,during,and after the learning.Through research,it was found that before the learning,the preferences of the high-educated and low-educated people in the early warning service and the intervention service were significantly different;during the learning,the learners were divided into active people,resource enthusiasts,homework enthusiasts and dull people;After the learning,the number of visits and duration of resources were significantly related to the scores.Based on the results of the persona analysis,the corresponding service content and method were selected,and finally three visual strategy reports were formed.In the end,the evaluation was implemented.The research objects were identified as support service personnel and learners,and the research methods were questionnaire survey and interview.The support service personnel evaluation results confirmed that the strategy design method proposed in this study could effectively achieve accurate support services based on comprehensive consideration of learner characteristics,andconsidered that the final strategy reports could help improve the teaching effect,but also put forward some areas for improvement.The results of the learner assessment confirmed that the designed online learning support service could effectively improve the learning experience,promote learning participation and improve academic performance to a certain extent.
