Paying attention to the learning problems of secondary vocational school students and promoting them to learn ‘how to learn’ is not only the key to the reform and development of secondary vocational education,but also the urgent need for students in secondary vocational schools to cope with changes of the times and realistic challenges.When it comes to the study of secondary vocational school students,learning strategy is extremely important,for it is not only an important index of learning to learn,but also an important intermediary to solve the other learning difficulties of secondary vocational school students.However,there are still many shortcomings in the learning strategies and their training of secondary vocational school students,which requires to strengthen the related research.Therefore,this study takes the vocational learning strategy as the research question,trying to know more about the learning problems of secondary vocational school students.On the basis of theoretical research on learning and learning strategies,this study constructs a new analysis framework of vocational learning strategies for secondary vocational school students,and develops investigation tools,which builds a theoretical foundation for the subsequent research and provides tool support.Then,the study takes Shanghai as an example,choosing 1093 students in 8 secondary vocational schools,and conducted a questionnaire survey together with teacher interviews,student interviews and classroom observation.Based on the analysis of data,this study explores the application status and influencing factors of vocational learning strategies for secondary vocational school students,and puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for the cultivation of vocational learning strategies.The main conclusions of this study are:(1)The vocational learning strategies of secondary vocational school students can be divided into attention-chosen strategy,retelling/memory strategy,deep processing strategy,practical application strategy,feedback strategy,planning strategy,adjustment strategy,help-seeking strategy;(2)The application level of vocational learning strategy of secondary vocational school students is not high,and there are significant differences in scores,grades and professions.And it shows problems such as lack of cognition,unwillingness,weak deep strategy and so on;(3)Factors like learning self-efficacy,learning motivation,learning interest,career development and strategy teaching have an important impact on the vocational learning strategies of secondary vocational school students,among which the learning strategy teaching is the key environmental factor;(4)According to the application problems and characteristics of vocational learning strategies of secondary vocational school students,we should focus on the cultivation of consciousness and key strategies,pay attention to individual differences,strengthen strategy teaching,and perfect the training conditions in order to realize the optimization of vocational learning strategies.
