This study uses communication classical theory of "use and gratification",in the city of Shanghai in the field of basic education management as the research object,were investigated by interview and questionnaire,to carry out an empirical study on the use of new media in the basic education management.The study found that the basic education management of Shanghai to use the new media dependence is very high,the use of new media equipment of the highest frequency of 88.2% people a day is a mobile intelligent mobile phone,44.5% people use new media has 10 years of history,their ability to accept new technology new things is very strong;the 97.1% basic education managers to spend at least a day 1 hours in the use of new media.Basic education managers use new media in the school most of the time;their mobile application is the most commonly used information and social class;WeChat and QQ have become their parents,teachers,and students,peer communication mainstream way and means;to learn the news,to learn new knowledge,education and peer communication is the biggest motivation to them the use of new media;they use new media is the most satisfactory understanding of the latest news of the acquisition,education policy and consultation,and the teachers and students,peer communication.It is worth mentioning that there are obvious differences in the use of new media satisfaction,women use new media to demand higher satisfaction than male;young people use new media to the satisfaction of the elderly is relatively higher.For them,there is a significant difference between the time difference and the use of new media new media demand satisfaction scores,the use of new media more,the higher the degree of satisfaction;the purpose and motivation of the use of new media,the greater the higher satisfaction.
