The development level of early childhood education is a reflection of the educational level of a country,a reflection of the degree of national civilization,and the primary link of a national cultural heritage.In order to meet the challenges of the 21 st century,countries all over the world have placed the development of early childhood education in a priority position.In order to improve the quality of early childhood education and lay a solid foundation for the growth of talents needed in the future society,people will inevitably put forward higher requirements for early childhood education teachers,their main undertakers.China has paid more and more attention to the pre-service training of early childhood education teachers.The "Several Opinions on Deepening Reform and Standardization of Pre-school Education" proposed by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China emphasizes strengthening the construction of kindergarten teacher training system.Therefore,the reform and development of pre-service training for early childhood education teachers in China is extremely urgent.New Zealand's early childhood education has developed rapidly and achieved remarkable results.The admission rate and teacher-student ratio are both in the world's leading position.The main reason why New Zealand has achieved this status is that its government attaches great importance to the training of kindergarten teachers.It not only introduces a series of policies and standards to ensure that graduates have the ability to be qualified for kindergarten teachers,but also constantly improves the pre-service training system for kindergarten teachers to improve the quality of pre-service teacher training.At present,the pre-employment training system for early childhood education teachers in New Zealand has developed very well.Adopting the method of the literature research and the historical research,the paper sorts out the historical evolution of the pre-service training of early childhood education teachers in New Zealand,and evaluates the current policies and standards of pre-service education in New Zealand,and the good pre-service training system for early childhood education teachers in New Zealand as well.The law summarizes the characteristics of New Zealand's pre-service trainingfor early childhood education teachers,combines the current situation of the development of early childhood education teachers in China,draws on its experience,and puts forward the enlightenment that is beneficial to China.Furthermore,it provides some reference for the reform and development of early childhood education teachers in China.This article consists of six parts.The first part is the introduction,clarifying the background,purpose and significance of this research,focusing on the domestic and international research results related to the pre-service training of New Zealand early childhood education teachers,defining the core concepts in the thesis,and introducing the adopted Scientific research methods.On the basis of mastering a large amount of literature,the second part sorts out the history of early childhood education training for early childhood education education in New Zealand from three historical periods,that is,before the 1940 s,from the 1940 s to the 1980 s,and from the1980 s to the present.The history shows their historical development.The third part introduces the current policy of pre-service teacher training and the registration standards for early childhood education teachers in New Zealand,particularly focusing on the requirements for admission and graduation of them,which lays a foundation for the following discussion on setting of the training objectives below.The fourth part describes the situation of pre-service training of early childhood education teachers in New Zealand in three aspects,namely,pre-service training objectives,institutions and courses,and tries to present a three-dimensional training process to better understand its reality.The fifth part is to analyze and summarize the characteristics of pre-service training for early childhood education teachers in New Zealand through the presentation of the above contents.Based on the successful experience of New Zealand and the current situation of pre-service training of early childhood education teachers in China,the sixth part proposes some beneficial inspirations for China by using comparative research method.
