In 2017,the Ministry of Education included the “Reading and Discussion of the Whole Book” in the “Standards for Chinese Courses in Ordinary High Schools”.The whole book reading appeared in the new curriculum standard in the form of course content,which had an indispensable influence on the reform of Chinese reading teaching in high school..As an important part of Chinese textbooks,the excerpts of novels have distinct teaching characteristics and purposes compared with non-excerpted texts.When textbook editors deal with excerpts,they implicitly have the entire book or the entire length of the text.Therefore,how to properly handle the relationship between the excerpt and the whole book,not only to meet the general requirements of the novel reading teaching,but also to point to the reading of the whole book.This thesis attempts to start from the style of the novel,and to guide the high school teachers and students’ "teaching" and "learning" from the limited content reading teaching to the huge whole book reading.In the book of the people’s education,Chong San,"Jin Yuyu Jin Jia Fu" is the research object of the novel selection teaching,and the "Dream of Red Mansions" is the research object of the whole book reading,and the reading teaching of the high school novels in the reading of the whole book is studied.This paper uses the literature research method to organize the whole book reading,high school excerpt novel reading teaching and the related research content of "Lin Yuyu Jin Jia Fu".Using the questionnaire survey method and interview method,the current high school teachers’ knowledge and development of the whole book reading and the current situation of the teaching and learning of the novels were investigated and found that the current teachers did not know the "reading and discussing the whole book".The depth and breadth of novel reading are not enough.The existence of the teaching mode of excerpt novels leads to insufficient stimulation of students’ reading interest,and the lack of systematic reading methods leads to the difficulty of reading the entire book.The proposing of the teaching strategies of the novels in the novel class provides a realistic basis.The teaching strategy proposed in this paper is to develop the strategy of "teaching" teaching teachers and the "learning" of students from the perspective of reading the whole book.Regarding the strategy of "teaching",the author studies the three dimensions of teachers,excerpts,and whole book readings,and proposes that teachers should be familiar with the requirements of the whole book for reading the whole book,update the teaching philosophy of novel reading;Focus on students’ interest in reading,and take care of the whole;the whole book should be considered as a strategy for excerpting texts.The strategy of "learning" suggests that students should master the reading methods and interpretation methods of the whole novel,and have a purposeful and planned reading of the entire book.The reading focuses on the meaning of the excerpted text in the perspective of the whole book.Finally,this thesis designs and designs the novel excerpt "Lin Yuyu Jin Jia Fu" and applies the teaching and learning strategies.This topic is based on the important premise that the whole book reading has been incorporated into the horizon of the Chinese curriculum.The high school novels are selected as the entrance to the whole book reading,and the practical significance is carried out.The study of reading strategies of high school excerpt novels in the whole book reading perspective.
