With the improvement of China’s economic level and the development of national fitness,physical education has been paid more and more attention by the national education departments,schools and parents.However,due to the late start of sports in New China,especially in the field of early childhood sports,the construction of preschool education institution system is not comprehensive enough,and the level of education and teaching needs to be improved.After consulting a large number of documents,it is found that the domestic academic research on infant sports mostly stays at the level of current situation analysis,lacking of applied research.The development of infant sports is not only related to children’s acquired athletic ability,but also has an important impact on children’s psychology,intelligence and other aspects.Especially for children aged 3-4,their physical and mental development is rapid.If they do not get a good development at this stage,it will bring irreparable losses to children’s life,learning,communication and many other aspects.According to the shortcomings of previous studies,50 children in Class 1 and Class 2(3-4 years old)of Anjimei Kindergarten in Changchun City were selected as subjects by using the methods of literature,interview,Delphi,experiment and mathematical statistics.They were randomly divided into experimental class and control class.Twenty-five students in the experimental class were intervened in the teaching of basic sports games,while 25 students in the control class were intervened in the teaching of traditional sports courses.After a three-month teaching experiment,the national physical fitness monitoring(infant part)was used to test the data obtained by paired sample test and independent sample T test,and the intra-group comparison and inter-group comparison were conducted to explore the development level of children’s basic motor ability before and after the experiment.The experimental results show that:1.After 3 months of teaching,the test scores of the children in the control class were significantly improved except for sitting forward(p < 0.05).2.After three months of basic sports game teaching,the five test scores of the experimental class were significantly improved(p < 0.01).There was a significant difference between the two groups,and the results of sitting forward were not significantly improved.3.Comparing the results of the experimental class with those of the control class after the experiment,except for the natural growth factors,the results of the experimental class are obviously better than those of the control class,but the improvement of the sitting forward performance is not obvious,which shows that neither traditional physical education nor basic sports games have a significant impact on the children’s sitting forward performance.The following conclusions are drawn:1.With basic sports ability as the core,specialized sports games can effectively improve children’s basic sports ability.Basic sports games are more in line with children’s physical and mental characteristics.Children can improve their basic sports ability in a happy and pleasant environment.2.The basic sports game course is superior to the traditional physical education course.It can obviously improve the development of children’s physical qualities such as speed quality,strength quality,endurance quality and balance quality.There is no significant difference in the flexibility quality in the experimental results due to the lack of flexibility-related teaching content.
