Classroom instruction is gradually moving towards informatization along with the development of information technology and the advancement of educational informationzation.Teachers shall play an important role in the process of informationization in classroom instruction as the backbone of basic education.This study defines the knowledge,ability and attitude that teachers need as informatization teaching competencies,in order to achieve effective integration of information technology and classroom instruction.Also,the study takes the application of tablets in classroom teaching as an example,to research the informationized teaching competencies of primary school teachers,focusing on the following questions: 1.What challenges does the application of tablet computer in classroom instruction pose to teachers? 2.Which kinds of informational teaching competencies has the teacher demonstrated to overcome the challenges that the tablets brings? What role do these competencies play in the process of informatization teaching? 4.What are the key points,cores and foundations in the development of primary school teachers’ informatization teaching competencies? 5.What development path should be established to realize the development of primary school teachers’ informatization teaching competencies,and what guarantees should be provided for teachers?In order to answer the research questions,this study selected the interview method as the main research method,conducting semi-structured interviews with 25 teachers from 4 schools with information characteristics in Shanghai,supplemented by participatory observation and literature analysis,to form triangular mutual verification and enhance the credibility of the data.In the process of writing,(1)according to literature analysis,classroom observation and interview data,analizing the purpose of tablets applicated in the classroom and the new elements and changes brought by the application of tablets to classroom instruction.(2)on the basis of analyzing classroom allplication,revealing the challenges brought to teachers by application tablets in class with TPACK theory and interviews.(3)using Nvivo11 to encode the collected interview data,so as to dig out the informational teaching competencies and specific performance dimensions of primary school teachers facing tablets in class,and analyze the role of different competencies in the process of information teaching.(4)analyzing the key poingts,cores and foundations of informational teaching competencies development of primary school teachers in combination with theories and teacher competencies framework,formulating the path for teacher competencies development,and proposing the guarantees for the development of teacher competencies according to the factors found in the interview that may restrict or promote the development of teacheing competencies.The research finds that(1)the challenges to teachers brought by the application of tablets in classroom instruction mainly come from the needs in updating teachers’ knowledge structure and the negative effects brought by the application of tablet computers.(2)to cope with the challenges of tablet applied in classroom instruction,teachers mainly showed 6 information teaching competencies,including understanding and application of new technologies,technology application based on pedagogical knowledge,technology application based on knowledge of students,the ability to control the class,promoting technology application by parent-school cooperation,developmental competencies.Among them,understanding and applying new technology,technology application based on pedagogical knowledge,technology application based on knowledge of students,are the cores and key points of teachers’ information teaching competencies.(3)the renewal and transformation of teaching philosophy,the renewal of teachers’ knowledge structure and the improvement of technology application level constitute the key,core and foundation of the development of teachers’ informational teaching competencies seperately.Based on the above research findings,we can systematically grasp the key points of performance dimension and the key to development in teachers’ informational teaching competencies.In order to promote the development of teachers’ informational teaching competencies,this study discusses the path to promote the development of primary school teachers’ informational teaching competencies: carrying out particular teaching and research activities to promote the transformation of teachers’ teaching concepts,enhancing the cooperation between teaching groups to promote the updating of teachers’ knowledge structure,and providing technical training to promote teachers’ technical application level.In order to promote the development of primary school teachers’ informatization teaching competencies,encouraged time and performance guarantee for exploration should be provide,along with the resources to support teachers’ teaching and the technical support for classroom application.
