Education is one of the most essential parts in a nation's development.As an essential bridge linking compulsory education and higher education,high school education has been receiving more and more national investment both in human capital and finance.To ensure the fairness in education and win the fight of poverty reduction in China,improving the financial assistance system for high school students is one of the vital components.The proper implementation of the qualification identification work for students with financial difficulties can ensure its scientificity and effectiveness,which is the guarantee for the accurate placement of various types of financial assistance and bursaries at all levels,and is a concrete embodiment of targeted poverty alleviation.Therefore,to further strengthen the financial assistance for high school students and scientifically establish a suitable evaluation system,it is more likely to consummate the classification management of the high school students' financial assistance.However,this is a difficult point in the current work,and there are still some problems in the process.Based on the reasons above,Anning,a prosper town in Yunnan Province with its booming development in both economy and education,has been targeted in this academic article.By analyzing the status and problem of high school students' financial assistance in government budget,actual work and specific practice of relevant government departments and all four high schools,the evaluation work for the identification work of students with financial difficulties has been further systematized in these analytic methods—analytic hierarchy process,questionnaires,and interviews.Besides,the related countermeasures are considered in light of the problems exposed in current students' financial assistance,which is expected to make it a better and more practical attempt on the classification management of high school students' financial assistance in line with the local reality.
