| The aging of population is one of the most serious problems that our country faces, and compared with the city, the old-age problem brought about by the aging in the countryside is worth paying more attention to.On the one hand, from the point of view of one-child situation, our country has always had the idea of more children and more happiness, that the more the number of children, the more the parents’ pension will be guaranteed. With the effective implementation of family planning, the demographic structure of our country has changed, the number of children has decreased, and the emergence of a large number of only-child families has contributed to the continuous improvement of the dependency ratio of the elderly. The "comprehensive two-child" policy, proposed in 2018,aims to optimize the size of the population and to be active, with a heavy economic burden on the family. To deal with the problem of aging, but the coexistence of minority and aging is no doubt aggravating the burden on children’s shoulders. On the other hand, with the development of economy, the large-scale migration of rural young and adult labor force to the city has changed the traditional rural housing pattern, and the family size has gradually tended to be "miniaturized",and the distance between children and their parents has been widened. It has also had an impact on intergenerational economic support.Based on the research of Dandong city in Liaoning province, this paper obtains concrete data through field investigation, and gives out 382 questionnaires and 351 valid questionnaires.According to the survey data, the influence of one-child situation on intergenerational economic support of rural parents was analyzed. On the basis of statistical analysis and case analysis, this paper describes vividly the intergenerational economic support relationship between children and parents.Based on the above results, specific suggestions are put forward to improve the living standard of rural parents.Specifically, from the perspective of one-child situation, this paper analyzes the influence of children on rural parents’ access to intergenerational economic support.Empirical results show that home The greater the number of children in the court, the less financial support parents get from each child;in terms of financial support to parents, there is no significant difference between the financial support of the son and daughter, and the role played by the daughter in the aspect of parental support for the elderly is gradually becoming apparent; With the trend of population flow, the distance between children and their parents is increasing, which also has a profound impact on the parents to obtain financial support. For children living with their parents, living together will reduce direct financial support to their parents, while for non-co-resident children, the increase in distance from the field will increase financial support for their parents. In addition, the higher the level of education of the child The higher the income, the more financial support the parents get from it.In addition, unlike previous studies, the financial support of daughters to parents is not necessarily less than that of their sons.In specific financial support, the son is more inclined to provide financial support, while the daughter is more inclined to provide material support. But both sons and daughters have weakened financial support for their parents after getting married and having children. Finally, based on the survey results and overall analysis, some suggestions are put forward to improve the living standard of rural parents. |
