Perquisite consumption,as the implicit salary in the company's salary incentive system,reflects the problem of corporate agency conflict to a certain extent.In recent years,more and more corporate executives have been abandoned with luxurious consumption,which has concerned the society with the waste of resources.Executives frequently use their power to conduct excessive consumption for personal interest,rendering heavy perquisite consumption problem in companies.At the same time,the proportion and influence of female executives in recent years has continued to rise.Women have different styles in corporate governance because of their different personality traits,such as being more cautious,careful and fair.As one of the characteristics of corporate governance mechanism,genders of executives might have a certain impact on the level of perquisite consumption of enterprises.This paper collected data from the A-share listed companies from 2010 to 2016,then used STATA software to establish a regression mode to analyze the impact of female executives on perquisite consumption of companies.The results can be concluded as follow.Firstly,there is a significant difference in the amount of perquisite consumption between companies managed by male executives and female executives.Secondly,female CEOs,higher female executive ratio,and higher female director ratio can effectively curtail the perquisite consumption.Third,female executives ratio in private enterprises have a greater impact on reducing perquisite consumption than in state-owned enterprises.Fourth,nomination of female CEO have a greater impact on reducing perquisite consumption in small companies than in mature companies.With view to the above conclusions,we suggest the following measures.Firstly,companies can use various measures to reduce perquisite consumption,such as adjusting leverage,concentrating shareholding,privatizing companies and etc..Secondly,companies should variegate the executive team in the respects of education,political status and culture.Thirdly,companies should increase the proportion of female executives so as to establish a fairer compensation system,and reduce agency costs.
