| Nowadays,teachers’ education is getting more and more attention and in-service training has become a crucial way to improve teachers’ professional skills.In-service training of teachers in higher vocational colleges should follow the main principle of “double-qualified” teachers so as to equip teachers with professional knowledge and technical skills.However,the traditional in-service training of teachers has many backwards such as the simplification of training modes,the fixation of training contents and the lack of subject during the training process.Furthermore,the traditional one targets at the improvement of one particular skill,while neglects the needs of moral pursuing,hobbies cultivation and a “real” training.Therefore,this kind of training cannot go hand in hand with times to give further consideration of overall professional quality and ability building.Hence,the traditional one is regardless of trainees’ experience and activity in training process so that they cannot level their skills up quickly and meet the needs set by themselves.It has a long way to go to the “double-qualified” teachers.Therefore,it is an irreversible trend of “double-qualified” teachers building that the in-service training needs to be paid many attentions to and made some innovations.Traditionally,the trainer play a lead part in the in-service training of higher vocational colleges,but experiential training,as a budding way,emphasizes in-person experience and the major role of trainees.Compared with the traditional one focusing on theoretical knowledge,it pays more attentions on experience and even changes training plans or contents according to reality in order to meet the setting goal.Experiential training outweighs the traditional one out of its experiencing feature and personalization.It get more and more attentions and is introduced to higher vocational colleges to set the trend of future training modes.Introducing experiential training into in-service training of teachers in higher vocational colleges is a reform of traditional training and a trail of new training method.Experiential learning and experiential teaching have proved that experiential method helps the realization of educational and teaching objectives.Conducting experiential training in higher vocational colleges promotes the development of teachers themselves and the school as a whole.Taking teachers in higher vocational colleges who attend experiential training as examples,the author using the method of literature analyses firstly gives some definitions about relevant terminologies and points out its features and values;secondly,explains the availability and theoretical bases of conducting experiential training in higher vocational colleges and chooses three colleges to hand out questionnaire and have some invitations to find out existing problems in in-service training;thirdly,faces these problems some basic strategies put forward according to higher vocational colleges’ missions and the characteristics of experiential training.In the end,the author hopes to make some changes in the in-service training practice of teachers in higher vocational colleges and promotes the building of “double-qualified” teachers. |
