With the advent of the era of globalization,countries are interdependent in politics,economy and trade,and international competition is intensifying.The demand for international talents with local cultural characteristics,international vision,international awareness and international communication skills is gradually increasing.Therefore,it is particularly urgent and important to cultivate students' international understanding literacy through international understanding education,so that each country is in an advantageous position in the increasingly fierce international competition.International understanding education has been carried out since primary and secondary schools.Since the founding of the People's Republic of China,especially since the reform and opening up,we have also carried out international understanding education in different degrees in primary,secondary and primary schools,and have achieved positive results in theoretical research and practical exploration.This study uses literature analysis,historical research and data processing methods to combine qualitative research with quantitative research.According to the iconic education policy and educational reform events,the CiteSpace software is used to analyze the literature and investigate 1949-2019.The development history of China's international understanding education: Since the founding of New China for 70 years,the theory and practice of international understanding education have experienced four stages: germination,development,exploration and expansion.This thesis aims to reveal the status of China's international understanding of educational theory research and practical exploration,review,summarize and reflect on the changes of China's international understanding education and its success and failure,and to prospect its future development.It will help to improve the theoretical system of China's international understanding education and counter-acting in practice.It will help to provide historical reference and theoretical wisdom for promoting the future development of China's international understanding education.It is important for China's further opening up strategy and global competitiveness. significance.
