The case teaching method is a teaching method that presents the case to the students through the teacher,and the students actively participate in all aspects of the classroom teaching around the case to achieve the teaching purpose and enhance the teaching effect.The application of the case teaching method conforms to the development requirements of the new curriculum reform and embodies the concept of quality education.Improve students’ ability to analyze and solve problems in the process of thinking,and the ability to communicate and cooperate in the interaction between teachers,students and students.This research faces the problems in the application of the case teaching method.On the basis of analyzing the causes,this paper tries to propose a strategy for effective implementation.The paper is divided into five parts: the first part is the introduction.The introduction includes the research background,the meaning of the topic,the research review and the research methods.The second part,the theoretical overview.It is mainly to sort out the concept,characteristics,implementation steps,theoretical basis of the case teaching method and the significance of the case teaching method in the high school ideological and political class.The third part analyzes the current situation of the application of the case teaching method in high school ideological and political courses,including survey design and analysis of survey results.The survey design includes survey selection and objects,survey content and methods.The results of the survey include the current situation and effectiveness of the case teaching method in the high school ideological and political course of Shihezi C Middle School.The results are as follows: the choice of case is outstanding,and the implementation of “one case in the end” has achieved good teaching effect and the effect of “life community”.Obviously,the case teaching method is recognized and accepted by teachers and students.The fourth part analyzes the problems and causes of the application of the case teaching method in the teaching of high school ideological and political courses.The existing problems are analyzed from these two aspects: teaching design and teaching implementation.The main reasons are: some teachers lack the awareness and ability to use the case teaching method,the difficulty of changing some students’ roles and the lack of learning attitude,the lack of quality case resources and the lack of depth of problem setting,and the evaluation of teaching is restricted by the test-oriented education.The fifth part is based on the analysis of the problems and causes of the application of case teaching method in high school ideological and political class.The author discusses the effective strategies of improving the case teaching method of high school ideological and political course from four aspects: teacher,student,case and evaluation.Through this investigation and study,we can see the good performance and existing problems in the application of the case teaching method in the high school ideological and political classroom of Shihezi C Middle School.This paper proposes a feasible countermeasure by analyzing the causes of the problem,expecting to give full play to the advantages of the case teaching method,highlighting the subjective position of the students,and enhancing the vitality and vitality of the ideological and political courses.
