The Singapore government emphasizes great importance in early childhood education.The teaching aids is an essential tool in early childhood teaching.It can not only be used as a tool to assist preschool teachers in teaching and learning activities,but also to cultivate the six areas of development of young children.In this study,the use of Chinese teaching aids promulgated by the Ministry of Education of Singapore “Cultivating Young Children: Preschool Language Course Framework” suggested three main purposes of early childhood education – “Listening Culture,and contact”.Based on the classification basis,using the observation method,interview method and questionnaire survey method to analyze the current situation,problems and characteristics of the use of teaching aids in Singapore were studied.The studies showed that in Chinese teaching,the use of teaching aids mainly reflects the following characteristics: First,the teaching aid design reflects the teaching characteristics of the kindergarten Chinese language curriculum,which can meet the requirements for cultivating children's comprehensive ability.Secondly,the phase of characteristics in the use of Chinese teaching aids are obvious.However,the use of Chinese teaching aids has the following problems.First,due to the insufficient of “communications” in Chinese language.S econdly,the "cultural" teaching aids lack of systematic and holistic learning.Thirdly,the use of "contact" in class teaching aids are arbitrarily used and have low standardization.Recommendations are suggested in view of the problems faced with the use of the above teaching aids in Singapore Chinese Early Childhood.First,the education in early childhood should increase training on emphasizing on using the teaching aids in prescho ol teachers.Secondly,it is necessary to strengthen the ability of preschool teachers using the teaching aids flexibility.Thirdly,in view of the “cultural” teaching aid,one should pay attention to the systematic nature of the cultivation of children's cultural quality and establish a perfect teaching aid.Lastly,"contact",the class teaching aids must strengthen in terms of scientific and normative...
