With the rapid growth of a society,the quality education has been carried out comprehensively,people gradually realize that the growth and development of students in all respects can not only be achieved by school,the school cannot bear the whole responsibility of education.How to strengthen family and school cooperation to form the largest educational power is a concern for all educators and parents.Many surveys in the field of education show that home-school communication is of great significance to all aspects of student development,and also provides many benefits for schools,teachers and parents.Therefore,communication between home and school has received increasing attention.However,under the combined effect of various factors,the actual status of communication is not satisfactory,and there are many problems.In the actual situation of teacher-led home-school communication,this paper focuses on the teacher’s initiative to communicate with parents and develops the study of teacher factors.According to the literature analysis of home-school communication,the questionnaire design mainly focuses on two parts: the current situation of teacher’s active communication with parents and teacher factors.This paper analyzes the questionnaire results of 289 teachers in Qingdao by Using the two-dimensional Cross Tabulations and chi-square test.The correlation between teacher’s initiative to communicate with parents and the teachers’ factors was studied.And the following results are drawn: the three teacher factors which including teachers’ understanding of the role of parents,the background of teachers’ education,the teachers’ teaching age are not related to teacher initiatively communicating with parents;the four teacher factors which containing Teachers’ understanding of the relationship between home and school,the degree of mutual trust between teachers and parents,the degree of teachers’ confidence in parent-teacher communication,and the teachers’ positions influence different aspects of teacher’s active communication with parents.Based on the analysis of the causes of the data results,the study discusses the teachers in the questionnaire highly recognized parent-teacher communication skills and their overconfidence in home-school communication.Aiming at the reasons,four suggestions are put forward.For teacher,establish correct concepts;attach importance to home-school communication skills.For environment,improve the management of parentteacher communication;regulate the direction of public opinion.
