As a national education center city,the professional development of university teachers in Xi'an has attracted much attention.Physical education teachers in Colleges and universities are one of the key objects of development.The professional development of physical education teachers in Colleges and universities in Xi'an has an important impact on Physical Education in Shaanxi Province and even the whole country.This research takes the influencing factors and paths of the professional development of physical education teachers in Colleges and universities in Xi'an as the research object,and proceeds from the present situation of the professional development of physical education teachers in Colleges and universities in Xi'an by using the methods of documentation,questionnaire,interview and mathematical statistics,and makes a comprehensive analysis of the present situation,influencing factors and paths of professional development of physical education teachers in Colleges and universities.Face study.The conclusions and suggestions are as follows:(1)The present situation of PE teachers' professionalization in Colleges and universities in Xi'an: Firstly,PE teachers in Colleges and universities lack professional knowledge,professional ability,professional ideal and professional ethics.Secondly,the professional knowledge and the direction of teaching and training of physical education teachers in Colleges and universities are not consistent with the professional direction of their academic qualifications.Finally,the ways of acquiring professional knowledge of college physical education teachers are single,and the ways of improving professional ability are few.(2)The influencing factors of PE teachers' professionalization in Colleges and universities in Xi'an can be divided into three dimensions: teachers' personal influencing factors,school influencing factors and social influencing factors.Teachers' ideals and beliefs,school title evaluation system and education management system are the three important factors.(3)The path of the professional development of physical education teachers in Colleges and universities in Xi'an is to promote the integration of professional theory with practical work at the individual level,to promote the integration of school training with practical work at the school level,and to improve the government's professional management system at the social level as the main content of the path.(4)According to the current situation of professional development,the following suggestions are put forward: improve the admission system and work management system of College Physical Education teachers,and clarify the work content of College Physical Education teachers.We should improve the professional training system for college physical education teachers and enrich the ways in which physical education teachers acquire professional knowledge and improve their professional abilities.Improve the professional title evaluation system of College Physical Education teachers,and strengthen the examination of professional knowledge consistency and professional ability consistency of College Physical Education teachers.Local governments should improve the professional management system of physical education teachers,introduce relevant policies,and strengthen financialsupport for physical education teachers' professionalization.
