Shadow education can be seen everywhere in China.The school tries to improve the enrolment rate,while the parents are more concerned about the future of children;hence,shadow education comes into the attentions of many parents,but many parents and students have different opinions on whether shadow education will help children's growth.Based on this,the article explores the shadow education in the compulsory education stage,which enables parents,schools and students to have a comprehensive and objective understanding of shadow education,making the schools and parents can treat shadow education with a dialectical and unified vision,forming a scientific education concept in student education,and selecting appropriate shadow education according to the law of physical and mental development as well as learning needs of students in the compulsory education stage,thus helping students to learn and grow up healthily.The author's research is mainly aimed at the situation of students participating in shadow education in the compulsory education stage in Q District,Bozhou City.Through questionnaires and interviews,the contents of scale,content,reason,time mode and participation effect on students participating in shadow education in the compulsory education stage in Bozhou City are discussed to analyze the problems in shadow education:first,the problems between shadow education and educational institutions,such as the quality of educational institutions,the neglected safety of students,the uncertainty in teaching quality due to the unbalanced professional tutors in educational institutions.Second,the problems between shadow education and schools,such as over-emphasizing the students' achievements,neglecting the students' personality development,and causing tension between teachers and students due to the contradiction between tutors and school teachers.Third,the problems between shadow education and family,such as parents are blind in choosing counseling institutions,which lacks of communication with children,increasing the burden on families.The articles give some corresponding countermeasures in the end on these problems basing on the view of government management(perfecting shadow education management and supervision mechanism as well as standardizing shadow education market),school management(focusing on student personality development and alleviating tension between teachers and students)and family management(treat shadow education reasonably and strengthening communication with children).
