| Examination is a basic method of educational evaluation and teaching measurement,as well as an important method of selecting talents.College Entrance examination scores are basically used to select freshmen in China.NEMT(National College Entrance Examnation)scores are the main basis for one’s Entrance into university and the "baton"of high school teaching,which has an important influence on the development of basic education in China.In the United States,colleges and universities need to comprehensively examine all aspects of the quality of candidates when selecting new students,but academic performance is still the most critical indicator in college admission.As one of the indicators of academic performance,the SAT(Scholastic Aptitude Test)is the most important factor affecting the decision of college admission officers.From this perspective,it is equivalent to the national college entrance examination in China.In the structure of NEMT examination papers,modern text reading test plays an important role.In recent years,the proposition technology of modern text reading test has been improved continuously,but there are still some obvious deficiencies.The SAT,which has been developed from 1926 to now,has gradually become mature and perfect after nearly 100 years of continuous development and improvement.It has been recognized by many colleges and universities,and it is worth learning from.It is very important to explore the inspiration of SAT reading test,and to improve the modern Chinese reading test of college entrance examination.Based on the theoretical analysis of SAT and college entrance examination,analyze the basic path and characteristics of the development of SAT and Chinese college entrance examination modern essay reading test,and then selected article,exam form,content choice,ability level,quality analysis of the SAT and college entrance examination Chinese modern article reading plate has carried on the comprehensive research and comparison,analyzes the similarities and differences,discusses the SAT for the inspiration of college entrance examination reading test.The main idea is:There are a number of differences between the SAT and NEMT reading sections:in terms of propositional evidence:the SAT is more about thinking;In the selection of materials,The SAT has a broader reading genre than the NEMT,with more contemporary,specialized,practical and reflective themes;In terms of format,the proportion of questions,questions,scores are not the same;In terms of the content of the multiple choice questions,there is something more scientific about the SAT;In terms of quality analysis,the difficulty coefficient of the SAT is the same as that of the college entrance examination,and the difference coefficient of the SAT is slightly higher than that of the college entrance examination.Based on the conclusion of comparison and the analysis of the reasonableness and scientificity of SAT,this paper puts forward the enlightenment and specific proposition suggestions for the college entrance examination in the aspects of essay selection,we should improve the practicality of the subject matter and the sense of The Times,enhance the inclusiveness of the genre,increase the number of natural science texts,and improve the professionalism of the content of the text In terms of question types,we should increase the number of questions,improve the text coverage of the questions,and increase the proportion of multiple choice questions.In the examination of the ability point,improve the ability point design of the test description,each corresponding ability point to be set more accurate,balanced,diverse,detailed.In the quality analysis aspect,must carry on the more authoritative,the scientific analysis to the examinee result.By making a detailed and in-depth comparison of the reading sections of the two kinds of exams,this paper provides some ideas for the reform of the proposition of the reading section of modern Chinese text in the college entrance examination,hoping to help improve the proposition skills of the college entrance examination and improve the scientificity of the proposition,so that the college entrance examination is not only conducive to selection,but also forms a synergy with education and learning. |
