Self-directed learning of Teachers is a learning activity that teachers determine their own learning objectives,choose learning content and methods,adjust and control the learning process,summarize and evaluate the learning results autonomously under the guidance of learning motivation as a learner.Specifically,teachers themselves "want to learn" "will learn" "can learn" "learn steadily",have shown autonomy in all aspects of learning activities.As an important way of teacher professional development,teachers' self-directed learning is gradually favored by educational researchers.Based on the literature review of domestic and foreign teachers' self-directed learning,this paper explores the concepts,characteristics,values,ways of teachers' self-directed learning,and then conducted a questionnaire survey on the situation and influencing factors of 125 rural primary school teachers' self-directed learning from learning motivation,content,method,regulation of the process,evaluation of the result,influencing factor.In order to obtain further investigation data,the author also chose 6 different gender,teaching age,teaching grade of rural primary school teachers in-depth interviews.The findings include the following: 1.The level of self-directed learning is low as a whole,and the individual differences are obvious;2.The motivation of self-directed learning is not strong,and the external motivation is the dominant;3.Actively read all kinds of knowledge,especially subject knowledge;4.self-directed learning methods are increasingly rich,the allocation needs to be optimized;5.The ability of self-directed learning is insufficient,and it is difficult to persist;6.It is urgent to pay attention to neglecting the self-summary and evaluation of learning;7.Teachers' self-directed learning is influenced by both their own conditions and the external environment: The conditions include teacher original knowledge,awareness of autonomous learning,learning ability,learning attitude and emotion;The external environment includes the school environment,the family support,the training system of teachers.Finally,this paper puts forward some suggestions to promote rural primary school teachers' self-directed learning in view of the above problems.From the individual level: teachers should change their learning beliefs,strengthen their awareness of self-directed learning;clear their own shortcomings,and improve their ability of self-directed learning.From the school level: school leaders set an example,actively promote the autonomous learning of the wind;rich in all kinds of education journals,books,and give full play to the advantages of network learning resources;to carry out various forms of learning activities,promote teachers' autonomous learning;to reduce the workload of teachers,ensure rural teachers' learning time and energy.From the national policy level: Let the teacher flow naturally arouse teachers' self-directed learning motivation;establish the scientific and practical teachers in rural development policy,to create a good learning conditions;perfect the establishment of exit mechanism of teachers,improve the learning atmosphere of rural teachers;optimize the quality of teacher training,teacher training policy to effectively implement;improve the rural teachers' treatment,provide material guarantee for the teachers to learn.
