"Physics Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)" puts forward that teachers must adopt multi-faceted teaching methods,fully develop teaching resources and cultivate students’ core literacy.Illustrations in high school physics textbooks are one of the important resources in high school physics teaching.They have rich knowledge connotations and play an important supporting role in teaching activities.They have attracted the attention of scholars at home and abroad.Foreign researchers attach great importance to the study of textbook illustrations,from the function of textbook illustrations to the design of textbook illustrations,to the application of modern multimedia technology to the in-depth research and development of textbook illustrations.After a long period of development,the study of textbook illustrations abroad has developed to a fairly high level.Domestic scholars also attach great importance to the study of textbook illustrations.From the comparative study of textbook illustrations,the classification of textbook illustrations,the development and application of textbook illustrations,a series of studies have been carried out on textbook illustrations.However,the current domestic research on the application of textbook illustrations is relatively general and lacks the pertinent research on the application of textbook illustrations in specific subjects.Therefore,it is of great significance to carry out pertinent research on the application of kinematics module illustrations in Physics Compulsory 1 of PEP Edition.Taking the kinematics module of Physics Compulsory Course 1 of the People’s Education Press as an example,taking the principles,strategies and processes of illustration application in senior high school physics textbooks as the breakthrough point,and aiming at fully utilizing illustrations in senior high school physics textbooks,the author has consulted a large number of domestic and foreign literature,introduced the concept of illustrations in senior high school physics textbooks,and illustrated the illustrations in the kinematics module of Physics Compulsory The classification research is carried out,and the theoretical basis of illustration teaching function in senior high school physics textbooks is expounded.On this basis,the author summarizes the principles to be followed in the application of illustrations in seniorhigh school physics textbooks in teaching.According to the principles of illustration application in senior high school physics textbooks and the research on the function and classification of illustrations in senior high school physics textbooks,the author puts forward three application strategies of illustrations in Senior high school physics textbooks,namely,creating situations by using illustrations in textbooks,guiding students to draw and teach according to illustrations in textbooks.The process of illustration application in senior high school physics textbooks is formulated.Subsequently,the author designs four practical courses according to the principles,strategies and procedures of illustration application in senior high school physics textbooks.In this process,the author differentiates and analyses the illustrations in these courses according to the principles of illustration classification,theoretical basis and illustration application in senior high school physics textbooks,aiming at those teaching materials which can not be fully applied in teaching.Through the strategy of illustration application in senior high school physics textbooks,the author has processed the illustration application and integrated it into teaching activities to achieve full application.In order to prove the practical effect of the application strategy and process of illustrations in senior high school physics textbooks,the author has carried out a detailed practical study.In the practical research,the author set up the experimental class and the control class to carry out the course teaching and routine teaching designed in this paper.Finally,by analyzing the physical examination results of the two classes after the practice,the author verified the influence of the strategy and process of illustration application on the students’ learning effect in the senior high school physics textbook proposed in this paper,and by extracting different grades.Students’ feedback information was obtained through interviews,and the specific effects of the application of illustrations in high school physics textbooks on students of different grades were investigated.The result proves that the strategy and process of applying illustrations in senior high school physics textbooks and the processing of illustrations in this paper give full play to the function of illustrations in senior high school physics textbooks in practical teaching,improve the teaching effect,have reference value,and help the majority of front-line teachers to better apply illustrationsin Senior High School physics textbooks.At the same time,through practical research,this paper finds that there are some shortcomings in textbook illustrations in the kinematics module of Physics Compulsory 1 of PEP,and puts forward some suggestions and supplementary plans for illustrations in view of these shortcomings,hoping to provide some reference for the selection and arrangement of illustrations in textbooks.
