Study On The Phase Characteristics Of Chinese International Labor Mobility

In the process of economic globalization,the factors of production flow rapidly between countries in the world.As an important production factor,labor flows more and more frequently in the international market.Labor mobility has an important impact on the economic development of importing and exporting countries.As a country with relatively abundant labor resources,the scale of Chinese international labor mobility has continued to increase as a whole,from 49,500 in 1984 to 779,100 at the end of 2017.However,the international mobility of China's labor force has different characteristics at different stages.In the early stage of China's economic development,the scale of international labor mobility is very small.With the rapid development of China's economy,the scale of international labor mobility has increased rapidly.With the changes in China's and global economic conditions,the scale of Chinese international labor mobility has gradually stabilized.The international flow of the production factor of labor force shows that the stage characteristics are inevitably influenced by special factors.Therefore,this paper takes the key factor of studying the staged characteristics of the international mobility of Chinese labor as the theme.The analysis of the key variables of the periodic characteristics can not only understand the historical regularity of the international mobility of the Chinese labor force,but also guide the current and future progress of the international mobility of the Chinese labor force.Firstly,the thesis analyzes the mechanism of the international mobility of labor from the four aspects of income and cost of labor international flow,international trade,FDI and OFDI.Secondly,it analyzes the reality of the international labor flow of Chinese labor and finds: The growth rate of labor international mobility has gradually stabilized,the concentration of labor international mobility is changed from Asia to diversified distribution,and the export provinces of international labor mobility are gradually developed from the eastern region to the coordinated development of the East,Central and West,and the transformation of the industrial distribution concentration field;Thirdly,the paper uses the sample data of 37 major regions of China's labor international mobility from 1990 to 2017,and selects labor mobility costs,China imports,China's exports,FDI and OFDI to build a dynamic model of labor international mobility.The Granger causality test and SYS-GMM estimation are used to empirically test the stage characteristics of China's labor international mobility.It is concluded that the key factor of the phased nature of China's labor international mobility is the income gap between China and other countries.,export trade and import trade.In order to deeply study the stage characteristics of China's labor international mobility,this paper constructs the threshold model and selects the income gap as the threshold variable.The test finds that the income gap has a threshold of 9.7359 for the international labor mobility of China,and the income gap between countries is less than $16914.0514(the logarithm of the income gap is 9.7359),which is conducive to promoting the international mobility of China's labor force.When the income gap between China and other countries is greater than $16914.0514,it will not promote the increase of the international labor mobility of China.Finally,this paper provides development suggestions for promoting the international mobility of China's labor force in the current stage from three aspects: increasing the amount of actual use of foreign capital,deepening the development of export trade,and increasing the amount of foreign direct investment,and providing corresponding development suggestions for the international mobility of China's labor force in the future stage.
