Under the background of international education reform,quality education has attracted more attention of researchers.Mental health education is one of the important components of quality education.In the field of preschool education,preschool teachers are the main force of preschool mental health education.The concept of preschool teachers’ preschool mental health education directly affected the quality of preschool mental health education.At present,some progress has been made in the research of preschool teachers’ educational concepts,but the research on the present situation of preschool teachers’ mental health education concepts is relatively scarce.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to comprehensively investigate the present situation of preschool teachers’ mental health education concept,and on this basis to analyze the characteristics and influencing factors of the educational concept,and then to put forward strategies to improve preschool teachers’ mental health education concept.In this study,literature,questionnaires and interviews were used to comprehensively investigate the current situation of preschool teachers’ mental health education concepts,analyze their characteristics and influencing factors,and suggestions were put forward to improve preschool teachers’ mental health education concepts.This study is divided into four parts:The first part is the introduction,which discusses the origin,significance,core concepts and literature review of the study,and explains the theoretical basis of this study-the theory of human all-round development and the theory of positive psychology.The second part is the research design.Based on the introduction,the specific research purpose,content,object and method are put forward to clarify the whole research ideas.The third part is the research results.Questionnaire and interview methods were used to investigate and analyze 179 kindergarten teachers’ views on mental health education from nine dimensions:teachers’ mental health,the purpose and significance of mental health education,mental health education’s implementers,objects,contents,approaches,effects,the relationship between mental health education and moral education,and the understanding of psychological counseling.The results show that:first,the overall average level of kindergarten teachers’ mental health education is 3.87 points,which is in the upper middle level.The second is the situation of each dimension.Teachers’ understanding level of the nine dimensions ranks from high to low in order:children’s mental health,mental health education object,implementer,content,purpose and significance,effect,psychological counseling and the relationship between mental health education and moral education.Thirdly,there are significant differences among teachers of different teaching ages.With the increase of teaching age,teachers’understanding of metal heath education is gradually improved,and there are significant differences in the three dimensions of implementer,object and approach.There are significant differences among teachers of different academic qualifications.It can be seen that with the growth of academic qualifications,kindergarten teachers’ awareness of mental health education concept is increasing,and there are significant differences in the five dimensions of purpose and meaning,implementers,objects,content and approaches.Teachers with different professional titles also have significant differences in mental health education.The level of awareness of kindergarten teachers’ mental health education is generally rising with the rise of professional titles,and in children’s mental health,subjects,implementers,approaches and psychological counseling,significant differences have also been found;there are significant differences among teachers of different kindergartens.The scores of public kindergartens are higher than those of private kindergartens,and the implementers,subjects,content,approaches,mental health education and moral education,psychological counseling The differences in dimensions are significant.The fourth part is discussion of the results.This part explores the characteristics and influencing factors of the preschool teachers’ mental health education concept.The author finds that the characteristics of preschool teachers’ mental health education are:pay more attention to preschool mental health education,there is ambiguity and one-sidedness in the specific understanding of preschool mental health education,and confuse preschool mental health education with moral education.Based on the above characteristics,the influencing factors of teacher,kindergarten,administrative department and society were analyzed.The fifth part is conclusion and suggestion.Based on the analysis of the above characteristics and influencing factors,specific feasible improvement measures are proposed:1.Enrich teachers’ knowledge of young children’s mental health education;2.Improve teachers’ mental health education experience;3.Enhance the importance of the whole society to preschool mental health education;4.Strengthen the theoretical construction of preschool mental health education.
