| In the information age,personalized and customized production based on the Internet and new technologies is raising a global revolutionary wave,which cause the team of makers who start from their personal interests and take the creative materialization as their mission are growing stronger,and create the maker culture that underline personality creation,hands-on practice and open source sharing.Under the background of the maker culture,the school introduces the concept of makers,and implements the maker education in the maker space to guide students to start from their own interests and hobbies,in the process of innovative practice of independent selection,separate design,self-construction,self-management,self-development,and cooperation,in which makes student experience the spirit,concept,way of thinking and behavior of the makers.Finally,in the long-term practice of the school maker education,integrating the existing school culture,there is gradually forming school maker culture.It aims for cultivating students’ innovative consciousness,innovative thinking and creative ability,and promote free creation,individuality release,cooperation,uniting knowing and doing,as well as democratic revolution.According to the division of cultural hierarchy,the school maker culture can be divided into maker material culture,maker system culture,maker behavior culture and maker spirit culture.As a culture that affects the cultivation of students’ creativity,the mechanism that the school’s maker culture influences the cultivation of creativity has become the focus of this research.In order to further clarify the relationship between the school maker culture and creativity,firstly,this paper analyzes the makers and maker culture under the 4p-creativity model(for example:creative products,creative person,creative processes and creative places or press),it is concluded that the maker is a creative individual,the maker culture is a creative places,and the school maker culture is a culture that points to the cultivation of students’ creativity.Secondly,according to the analysis of the relationship between culture and creativity by Silvano Arieti and Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi,the school maker culture is a culture with creative genes,students are creative person,the mechanism of the creative culture and the creative person is as follows:on the one hand,the culture containing creative genes exists based on the perception and understanding of creative person,and it gains a new meaning in the interpretation of individuals with different traits.On the other hand,the creative person is generated by the culture containing the creation of genes.In the process of the internal cognitive reorganization produces epiphany,that is,creation.Therefore,creative person and the culture constitute a complementary system of cyclic symbiosis.Through the analysis of the school maker culture and creativity mechanism,the school maker culture is an important measure to save the current development of the creativity of primary and secondary school students in China.Therefore,we need to cultivate the school maker culture from several aspects in practice,for instance,introducing a maker educational idea of interest-based creation;constructing an open learning space based on maker space;improving the system of implementing maker education in school;and integrate multiple creative clients. |
